Industrial and logistics developer Logicor has completed the development of another 23,000 sqm in the Bucharest I Logistics Park in Mogoşoaia, in northern Bucharest. 

Mega Mall, the shopping centre in Bucharest owned by NEPI Rockcastle, will be expanded with new stores and a residential component that will include around 180 apartments. 

GTC announced that Ziv Gigi has been promoted to Executive Director for the Southeast Europe region. In his new role, he will be responsible for all operations of the office sector in Bulgaria, Romania, Serbia and Croatia. He will be in charge of executing the company's strategy and development plan, as well as all of its operational activities, including leasing and asset management. Over 52,000 homes were sold in Bucharest and its surroundings in the first ten months of 2022, up 9.16% compared with the similar period from 2021, according to data published by the National Agency for Cadastre and Land Registration.

Grocery retailer Kaufland has inaugurated in Bucharest a new hypermarket spanning 5,000 sqm. Following the latest opening, the European network of the retailer climbed to 1,500 units.

With a rent level of €53/sqm/month on Calea Victoriei, the main retail street of the city, Bucharest remains in the top 50 cities analyzed worldwide and in position 46 out of 53 in the EMEA ranking, just behind Warsaw, according to a report by real estate consultancy Cushman & Wakefield Echinox.
