Marynarska Business Park in Warsaw transforms into Diuna

The metamorphosis of the Marynarska Business Park office complex implemented in Warsaw’s Służewiec district by PineBridge Benson Elliot and Syrena Real Estate is nearing completion. Work has been finalised on the outdoor area, replacing a 6,000 sqm concrete car park with a green park open to the city, covered with green hills. The project is changing its name to Diuna.

Liebrecht & wooD to build another mixed-use project in Warsaw

Warsaw office building gets revitalised by Syrena Real Estate

HOP, a post-modern office building from the 1990s has undergone a thorough upgrade thanks to Syrena Real Estate. The process lasted nearly a year and reached completion with the opening of the Lupo Pasta Fresca restaurant by  Warsaw restaurateur Justyna Kosmala, owner of Charlotte and the Wozownia Bar. The office building has also recently obtained the BREEAM in Use certificate at the EXCELLENT level and Barrier-Free Facility awarded by the Integration Foundation. The HOP is the first of two development projects in Syrena RE’s portfolio with PineBridge Benson Elliott to undergo such transformation. Work on the other project, the Marynarska Business Park, is underway.

Bratislava has a new plan for recovering the old town

Since the 1970s, the centre of Bratislava's Old Town has been divided by the multi-stream road Staroměstská Street. The City Hall, together with the Bratislava Metropolitan Institute, now has a plan to improve the area. They want to build a park and a large pedestrian plaza above the road to bring the divided city together and add a new residential and recreational space to the city, the Slovak capital's city hall has announced.

New leases

  • Delivery firm Cargus has leased 3,000 sqm for a new warehouse in CTPark Sibiu. Across Romania, Cargus has 20,000 sqm of warehouse spaces leased in CTP projects.
  • Decerto IT company has taken 850 sqm on the fourth floor of the Lumen office building in Warsaw.
  • Poznań's Andersia Tower is expanding its tenant portfolio. Recruitment company Hays Poland has taken a 260 sqm office space in the building. The Sempire agency, part of the Shoper group, has decided to lease 600 sqm.

New appointments

  • Maciej Kamiński joins the Axi Immo Services team as Head Of Business Development. His main task will be formulating and implementing business development strategies and negotiating and concluding contracts in the company's business area.
  • Polski Związek Firm Deweloperskich (Polish Association of Property Developers) elected new authorities at its general meeting in Katowice. Maciej Wandzel was elected chairman of the board. He will replace Grzegorz Kiełpsz, who became honorary president of the PZFD.
  • Piotr Herian has taken up the position of ISS CFO for Poland and the Baltics. ISS is a leading company in the creation of friendly workplaces and comprehensive facilities management.
