M Park to replace three former ECHO retail centres

LCP Properties has begun the process of structuring its portfolio with the official launch of the M Park brand. As part of the first stage of the rebranding, LCP has selected 20 out of a total of more than 95 of its existing projects in the country for changes. For three of them, previously operating under the Echo name - in Tarnów, Radom and Piotrków Trybunalski - the process has just been completed. The first stage of image changes within the LCP portfolio will last until the end of this year.

Budimex Nieruchomości becomes Spravia

Budimex SA has signed the final sales agreement of Budimex Nieruchomości. Therefore, the private equity investment firm Cornerstone Partners and Czech development group Crestyl took over the entire shareholding of the company.  This is the biggest acquisition in Poland and Central and Eastern Europe since the outbreak of COVID-19 pandemic. The next stage is changing the name of the company - Budimex Nieruchomości is now Spravia.

C&W rebrands Warsaw office building for Union Investment

Horizon (formerly Horizon Plaza), a Class A office complex in Warsaw’s Mokotów-Służewiec district, is going through an overall rebranding process conducted by global real estate services firm Cushman & Wakefield. Union Investment, the property owner, decided to rename the office building, redesign its visual identity and landscape, introduce a new signage system in common areas and launch a new showroom. In spring 2020, more greenery, new tenant amenities and landscape elements will be added in the areas around and near the building.

BNPPRE manages rebranding of Pradera centres

The Property Management department at BNP Paribas Real Estate Poland ran the rebranding process for the shopping centres that have recently changed hands from Ikea Centres Polska to the Pradera fund. The new name and corporate design can now be seen in Polish and German locations.

New leases

  • MAGNOR, a holding company with 100% Romanian ownership, has opened a new location in Iulius Mall, Cluj-Napoca. The launch of the new retail space is part of the company's strategy to expand its network of stores in key urban centres across Romania.
  • CA Immo has signed two lease agreements totaling around 4,400 sqm in the iconic Danube House in Riverside Karlín, Prague. Allegro will occupy two floors of the building, while Intersnack, an existing tenant, is expanding its office space within Danube House.
  • M Hospital is inaugurating a new imaging centre at Bucharest-based AFI Cotroceni Mall. The company also operates a similar centre in Veranda Mall.

New appointments

  • At the beginning of September, Ewa Ciołek and Piotr Meleszko were promoted to Senior Leasing Manager. MLP Group, recognising the internal competencies and achievements of its team, emphasises the importance of further improving the efficiency of its leasing operations, which are key to the company's dynamic growth.
  • Avison Young's Investment Advisory team in Poland has welcomed a new member, Katarzyna Sielewicz, who takes the role of Senior Consultant. Katarzyna holds a master’s degree in Finance from the Stockholm University School of Business and completed an exchange semester at Cass Business School in London. She gained international real estate experience working with the global Research and Strategic Advisory team at Cushman & Wakefield (formerly DTZ) in London.
  • Activ Property Services has announced the appointment of Ionuț Grigoraș as Partner in the industrial department. With more than 14 years of experience in the real estate sector, Grigoraș has worked with leading companies such as CTP, WDP, VLParks România, Logicor, P3, MDO, and MLP Group.
