The intensive construction of warehouse and production facilities for lease across the Czech Republic continued into the first quarter of 2025, according to the analysis of demand and availability of modern industrial space by Savills. However, supply remains insufficient in certain key markets, particularly in Prague and Brno. 

CTP has signed its first leases at CTPark Plzeň Kasárny. The project is transforming a nearly 65,000 sqm brownfield site into a modern business hub.

The extension of ARETE Park Plzeň Borská pole for Czech logistics and technology company Zásilkovna has been completed and handed over to the tenant for use.

APB is planning a residential development on its land in Plzeň. It wants to build a brand new district on the site of the former Slovany barracks for CZK 20 billion (€825 million). The company has already signed a memorandum of cooperation with the city, which will help to build a new kindergarten as part of its subsidies, writes the daily e15.cz.

More and more companies are considering expanding into Czech regions, but a lack of suitable office space is preventing them from doing so. In regions outside of Prague or Brno, there is not only a shortage of modern space for rent, but also a lack of flex operators. Those types of businesses could benefit from the growing interest of international companies in the Hub & Spoke or Flex & Core model, reports Colliers. 

Panattoni Park Pilsen West II has a new tenant, Panasonic Heating & Ventilation Air-Conditioning Czech. The hall's premises with a total area of over 24,600 sqm will be used for the production and storage of control boards for air conditioners and heat pumps manufactured in the Czech Republic. 

At the beginning of the pandemic, it seemed that many coworking centres or serviced offices could not survive the measures implemented under the Covid-19 pandemic. Shared workspaces, whose philosophy is based on meeting, personal communication, and collaboration, were hit hard by governmental restrictions. But a December analysis by JLL shows promising results; with the retreat of anti-pandemic measures, most coworking and serviced office operators have already felt a new wave of interest, and 2022 has confirmed this trend.

Obermeyer Helika, a design and construction consultancy firm, has completed its work as general designer for the redevelopment of part of the former Světovar brewery in Pilsen. The TechTower Technology Park, which was built there, is open from 1 February 2023 to those interested in innovative entrepreneurship and offers unique spaces for technology enthusiasts, start-ups and experienced entrepreneurs.

The Plzeň-based development group BC Real has started construction of 1,500 flats on a brownfield site in the former paper mill near the Radbuza River in Plzeň. It is the largest private residential project since 1989, the ČTK reported.

Antracit Property will be building in two locations in the Czech Republic simultaneously. In Ostrava-Poruba it is preparing an industrial building for long-term lease, while in Pilsen it will also build a rental project on a brownfield site near the railway station.
