MLP Group has commenced a project to revitalise the first mid-urban business park in the city of Poznań. The largest of the seven renovated facilities has been leased by a distributor of household appliances and consumer electronics. The renovated facility, with a total area of 12,000 sqm, will be available for occupancy in the fourth quarter of 2021.
Polish logistics company Uniq Logistic has become a tenant at another MLP Group park. The company will take up a total of over 17,000 sqm of space and will operate from two key locations in Pruszków and Łódź starting from the second quarter of 2021. Axi Immo supported the Group in the transaction.
MLP Group has purchased a land property located in Widzew district in the Southeastern part of Łódź where it plans to construct MLP Łódź, an 80,000 sqm modern logistics and distribution centre.
MLP Group has issued €30 million worth of bonds. The issue proceeds will be used to purchase land and implement projects to construct warehouses in Poland and abroad. On February 26th, the bonds will be introduced to trading on the Catalyst market.
Dunwell Industrial Brokerage has assisted MLP Group in opening a new, 2,500 sqm location in Bucharest for one of the largest banana importers and distributors in Europe, Citronex.
MLP Group is set to build a second logistics park in the Wrocław area. The MLP Wrocław West project will deliver a total of 70,000 sqm of modern space, the first handovers slated for October 2020.
In the first half of this year, MLP Group signed 22 lease contracts for a total of 217,000 sqm of warehouse space in Poland, Germany and Romania. This is more than double the previous year’s figure, of just over 100,000 sqm.
MLP Group will build a new logistics park in the vicinity of Lublin. This will be the second centre to be built in this part of Poland by this leading industrial property developer. The facilities slated to be built in this new venue will deliver a total of approximately 51,500 sqm of modern industrial space.
MLP Group commenced the construction of its first logistics park in Romania. Work on a 12,000 sqm facility is currently underway. In total, over 22,000 sqm of modern warehousing space will be constructed at this stage of the project. Ultimately, 95,000 sqm of space will be available to tenants in MLP Bucharest West. Sagex Construct has been selected as the general contractor.
MLP Group has begun the construction of a warehousing facility in its logistics centre in Czeladź. The construction of the facility with an area of nearly 10,000 square meters is scheduled for completion in Q2 2019.
Coci E-Motion, a Polish electric bicycle manufacturer, leased over 4,200 square meters of space within City Logistics Warsaw IV in Annopol by Pannatoni. Cushman & Wakefield advised Coci E-Motion during the negotiations.
Another brand from the CCC Group portfolio has joined the tenants of Galeria Sudecka in Jelenia Góra. The new CCC store will occupy 725 sqm of space. Customers can also do their shopping at the new Rossmann drugstore (450 sqm).
The EPP-owned Galaxy shopping centre in Szczecin is strengthening its offer by developing its partnership with HalfPrice. The relaunched showroom now has a wider assortment and larger floor space - about 3,200 sqm.

Daniel Rutkowski joined Walter Herz Investment Advisory Department, currently consisting of six people, and took the position of Development Manager. He will be responsible for searching for and acquiring investment projects, developing investment potential analysis and building the value of real estate.
Dariusz Proniewicz has joined MDC2's team of experts to take on the position of Development Director BTS, with responsibility for the development of BTS investments.
Karol Czupryński has joined the management board of Empik. He will take the position of Chief Commercial Officer. Czupryński has previously worked at Allegro, Procter & Gamble and Boston Consulting Group, among others.
