A fund managed by the Real Estate Group of Ares Management Corporation and local partner Portland Trust have sold the Coral Office Park in Prague to Mint Investments. Four independent office buildings totalling almost 35,300 sqm in Prague 5 were sold for an undisclosed price.
Mint Investments’ residential fund (MINT I. rezidenční podfond SICAV) has entered into an agreement for the acquisition of four apartment buildings in Plzeň-Skvrňany with developer Trigema Real Estate. Construction of the 100 apartments for rent is scheduled to be completed in Q4 2022. The parties did not unveil the transaction price.
In early May, developer Mint Investments began preparatory works on the Metropolis residential project in the centre of Bratislava. Local lender Tatra banka has been selected by the company to provide a loan of €42 million for the construction of the project. The planned completion date of the project is Q4 2023.
Generali Real Estate S.p.A. has completed the acquisition of International Business Centre (IBC), an office building in Prague, from Mint Investments, on behalf of the pan-European “Generali Real Estate Core Plus” fund managed by Generali Real Estate S.p.A Società di gestione del risparmio.
Generali Real Estate’s Core+ Fund has acquired the IBC office building in Prague’s Karlín neighbourhood from local investor Mint Investments for €70.2 million (CZK 1.9 billion). Wilsons provided legal advice for the seller during the transaction.
Local investor DRFG, through its Czech Real Estate Investment Fund, has acquired the Olomouc CITY shopping centre from Mint Investments. With this acquisition, DRFG manages the first primarily leisure-oriented property in its portfolio.
Mint Investments acquired one of the most prominent buildings in Na Příkopě Street in Prague for its private investors. Mint Investments acted in the transaction as an investment advisor and asset manager supported by Sentient as a technical advisor. The acquisition was debt-financed by Česká spořitelna. The seller was represented in the transaction by CBRE. Mint Investments now plans a major investment in the building's technical equipment which will allow it to execute its value-add programme.
Amundi Czech Republic has completed the acquisition of the company holding the property Polygon office building at Pankrác in Prague for its KB realitní fond 2. The property was sold by Mint Investments. Cushman & Wakefield facilitated the transaction.
In June 2018, Mint Investments successfully completed the acquisition of the shopping centre Breda & Weinstein in Opava from Avestus Capital Partners. The value of the transaction exceeded €60 million. Mint Investments originally developed and later asset managed this shopping centre for Avestus Capital Partners.
The EPISO 4 opportunistic fund, advised by Pan-European real estate manager Tristan Capital Partners, has acquired the Avenir Business Park office complex in Western Prague from debt restructuring firm Lone Star.
International 3PL operator Global Reach Logistics signed a lease agreement for 26,500 sqm at Prologis Park Poznań II, announced 108 Agency who has contributed to this project.
The Polish branch of Japanese logistics company Yusen Logistics has leased 8,700 sqm of additional warehouse space in Goodman’s Toruń Logistics Centre, bringing it up to full occupancy.
Hines has announced the signing of a new seven-year lease with clothing company Local Heroes at the Ambassador office building in Warsaw .The new tenant will initially occupy 570 sqm of temporary space, with plans to expand to 651 sqm later this year.
