According to the latest report from Cushman & Wakefield, occupier demand was notably weaker on the Polish industrial market in the first quarter of 2024. However, despite a double-digit decline in take-up, Poland was one of the most active leasing markets in Europe. Development activity also stabilised, but this year’s new supply is forecast to be the fourth highest in the history of the Polish industrial market.

Panattoni has begun work on Panattoni Park Gdańsk City Airport, a new project in the district of Pomerania. The development is being built on a speculative basis and will comprise two modern distribution buildings with a combined area of over 18,400 sqm.

DHL Supply Chain has been operating a carbon-neutral distribution centre for Eaton in CTPark Pohořelice since January 2024. The developer CTP has actively participated in its transformation.

Panattoni has delivered Panattoni Park Kraków East IV. The development is now to be financed with a €10.5 million loan granted by Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego. The centre has been fully leased out to OMEGA Pilzno.

Panattoni is launching the construction of a new speculative centre in the Łódź region. The project is to have an eventual size of close to 30,000 sqm.

Warsaw is a great place to locate small business units (SBUs). Although small and flexible warehouse modules have been trending for years, it takes several months to secure prime space in such facilities in the Polish capital, say experts of Newmark Polska.

MLP Group has entered into a transaction with ING Bank Śląski S.A. whereby the bank has agreed to provide funding totalling €26.8 million, to be used to finance new investment projects in the MLP Poznań and MLP Poznań II logistics parks and to refinance existing liabilities under bank loans.

Panattoni has received financial support for the development of the City Logistics Kraków III project. The €21 million loan granted by mBank will make it possible to finalise the construction of this logistics park located in Kraków’s Nowa Huta district.

Real Management has signed a loan agreement with mBank for over €14 million in funding for construction of the Good Point V warehouse and production park in Łubna near Warsaw.

CTP has marked the third anniversary of its listing on the Euronext Amsterdam stock exchange, which at the time was the largest real estate IPO in Europe since 2014. The subsequent three years from CTP's listing in March 2021 have been a time of accelerated growth for the company, highlighted by a 103% increase in GLA from 5.9 million sqm to 12.0 million sqm across CTP's European portfolio and 162% growth in its landbank, from 8.8 million sqm to 23.1 million sqm, thereby locking in future expansion by enabling CTP to develop more space to meet strong demand.
