The annual leasing volume on Poland’s industrial market reached 3.75 million sqm in 2019. The market grew by a record-breaking 2.8 million sqm while 1.9 million sqm of space is under construction. JLL summarised the industrial market in Poland for 2019.

Panattoni is selling a portfolio of 5 logistics parks in strategic locations totalling 280,000 sqm to an Asian investor. This marks the Asian investor's first investment in Poland and the transaction was handled by Savills Investment Management.

Savills Investment Management acquired a logistics centre near Wrocław. The purchase price amounts to €32.7 million. This modern facility with a total area of 46,000 sqm. was purchased by Savills IM on behalf of Savills IM European Logistics Fund 3 (ELF 3) from Panattoni Europe.

Tritax Eurobox plc, which invests in Continental European logistics real estate assets, has acquired two recently developed prime logistics properties and development land, positioned in the core logistics location of Strykow, near Łódź in central Poland for €51.8 million (phase I) with the potential to invest a further €15.0 million developing the adjacent phase II land. The corporate acquisition reflects a net initial yield of 6.1% (net of acquisition costs to the company) and has the potential to add value through the letting of vacant units and development of the land.

Panattoni has launched the construction of 25,000 sqm at Panattoni Park Legnica, out of 90,000 sqm planned. The first facility will accommodate the Polish production site of global e-commerce company Spreadshirt Group. Already in August 2020, the company will be taking up in excess of 11,000 sqm of production and warehouse space at the upcoming facility. The lease was mediated by JLL.

7R has finalized the sale of the 7R City Flex Łódź I warehouse located in Łódź, Poland to SELP (Segro European Logistics Partnership). This is the third 7R project, following 7R City Flex Łódź II and 7R Park Wrocław, to join the Polish portfolio managed by Segro.

At the end of 2019, Poland’s total industrial stock topped 18.6 million sqm, with warehouse supply hitting a record high of 2.72 million sqm in the past 12 months. Prologis has been named the top real estate company on the 2020 Global 100 Most Sustainable Corporations in the World List. This annual ranking of corporate sustainability performance also put Prologis at #6 among U.S. companies and #26 overall. The announcement was made at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland.

7R is the first warehouse developer in Poland to create an innovative eco-friendly warehouse – 7R Green. The company's main goal is to provide facilities in which ecological solutions will help minimize their impact on the natural environment. Construction of the first warehouse, designed in keeping with the new green concept, will start in the first half of the year.

Segro plc, in its role as venture advisor to the Segro European Logistics Partnership (SELP), has acquired Panattoni City Logistics Wrocław I - two buildings with a total area of 38,000 sqm. Advisors from JLL represented Segro within the transaction.
