Kajima, the pan-European real assets business, has announced it is opening a Warsaw investment office following the appointment of Jan Trybulski as Investment Director and Head of Poland. Jan will be working closely with Kajima’s existing logistics, living and renewables teams to support current operations and drive the expansion of the company’s project pipeline in Central Europe.

Stage Capital, a European secondaries’ investor, acquired a portfolio of shopping centres in Poland from Pradera Central European Fund. The acquisition was on behalf of Stage Capital Laurel II, Stage Capital’s second fund, and backed from funds managed by Glendower Capital.

CPI Property Group has become the first real estate company from CEE to issue sustainability-linked bonds. The sustainability-linked bonds were issued in the amount of €700 million, with an annual coupon of 1.75% and a maturity date of 14 January 2030.

The Polish branch of BNP Paribas Real Estate represented one of the Asian clients of the BNP Group in the acquisition process of a distribution centre in Świebodzin In Western Poland, which was developed by Panattoni. The Korean fund became the new owner. The property with a GLA of 190,000 sqm is fully leased to Amazon, one of the largest e-commerce providers in the world.

Pan-European real estate investment manager Europa Capital, in partnership with commercial real estate investor and developer ConvergenCE, has acquired the Akadémia Business Center in Budapest. The acquisition has been completed on behalf of Europa Capital’s latest value add fund, Europa Fund VI.

Indotek Group has completed the acquisition of 11 office buildings in 5 business parks in Belgrade from GTC. With the closing of one the recent years’ largest transactions in CEE, Indotek Group has further strengthened its position in the regional real estate market and is now present in 12 countries.

GLP has closed an acquisition contract for a 22.3-hectare plot in Szigetszentmiklós, next to its existing Sziget Logistics Centre near Budapest, the larger part of which has already been let to Fiege Group. GLP has simultaneously obtained an occupancy permit for the first building, while two further units are under construction. The two phases of the project will comprise more than 150,000 sqm of prime warehouse space.

Crescendo Real Estate Advisors has finalized the sale of a BTS facility, located in Gliwice, which was built for DPD Polska. Palmira Capital Partners’ acquisition of the property for the European Core Logistics Fund (ECLF) was completed in December 2021. 

Echo Investment signed a preliminary sale agreement for three office buildings in Fuzja Łódź, that will be acquired for over €56.4 million by KGAL Group, an independent investment and asset manager. The buildings encompass 22,000 sqm of BREEAM-certified office space. They are a part of mixed-use Fuzja, a project revitalizing a post-industrial area of Łódź.
