The first column of the first 58,000 sqm warehouse in HelloParks' Páty megapark has been placed. The nearly €70 million investment will be the largest contiguous warehouse in Budapest's agglomeration and it is HelloPark's largest project to date. 

Close to 50% of the warehousing surfaces for which lease contracts were signed in 2022 were transacted during July – September of this year, according to real estate consultancy Dunwell Industrial Brokerage. 

Spanish manufacturer of elevator components Savera is now relocating its production facility to the new CTPark Ostrava Poruba. The relocation was facilitated by Colliers.

Despite the dwindling economy in Europe, the logistics market in CEE countries has still a bright future ahead, claimed the participants of the logistics panel at CEE Property Forum 2022 in Vienna.

Residential developers have been the most active in terms of land acquisitions in the past 2.5 years, as they secured land plots which allow the construction of more than 30,000 units in all parts of Bucharest, according to data from real estate consultancy Cushman & Wakefield Echinox. 

Panattoni has just completed its logistics centre in Kojetín and handed it over to multinational e-commerce company Amazon for use. It is the first fully-fledged multi-storey distribution centre in the Czech Republic and is currently the most modern logistics hall in the country thanks to its equipment and environmentally friendly approach as well as its high energy self-sufficiency. The value of the building is more than CZK 5 billion (over € 202 million). The project was financed by Accolade.

Panattoni is developing a factory for Reynaers Aluminium near Warsaw. The global leader in the aluminium market is to make use of a centre of almost 29,000 sqm, which will be one of the company’s largest production facilities in Europe. The development is to be submitted for BREEAM certification for a rating of ‘Excellent’.

The Czech logistics and industrial real estate markets are reporting new record numbers for the first half of 2022, and the records are certainly not over. Shopping centres and retail parks are also enjoying success, and many new spaces in this segment are expected to be completed in the next two years. Last but not least, the office market has also been doing well with almost 50,000 sqm of office space opened and half of it already pre-leased, while another almost 30,000 sqm will be completed this year, according to an analysis by CBRE experts. 

The Czech industrial real estate market has grown up to 10.14 million sqm in size and surpassed the 10 million sqm mark. In this period, the largest real estate transaction in the history of the Czech industrial market was also registered with a yet undisclosed distributor leasing almost 234,000 sqm, Colliers reported in their last analyses.

The recently finished Hall 'I' at Airport City Business Park, located at Liszt Ferenc Airport offers a total leasable area of 6,000 sqm and is fully occupied.
