The new facility in Ecser, not far from the Liszt Ferenc International Airport, will offer 47,000 sqm of industrial space for local and foreign companies from 2024.

Accolade has completed a new logistic park in Elbląg, the first Class A warehouse in this area. The 20,000 sqm industrial park is fully leased to its two tenants: Flex and DPD.

ELI Parks, the network developed by Element Group and D Craig Real Estate, will kick off a new logistics and industrial project in Oradea. The companies will invest €22 million in the new park that will have a leasable area of 30,000 sqm. 

Romania’s industrial and logistics market expanded by over 500,000 sqm during 2022, with around half of all deliveries based in the Bucharest region, according to a report by real estate consultancy Colliers. 

VGP has acquired a new tenant for its newly prepared technology park in Ústí nad Labem, situated in the northern part of the Czech Republic at a 90-kilometre distance from Prague. The new tenant in Hall A at VGP Park Ústí nad Labem City is Bosal, a company from the automotive industry.

The new facility in the HelloParks Fót industrial and logistics centre will serve the needs of the global film industry, investor Virtual Europe Group (VEG) reports.

International logistics and transport company Emons is significantly expanding its network of logistics centres in the Czech Republic. As of February 2023, it will open its new logistics centre in Ostředek, close to the D1 motorway. Advised by Savills Czech Republic and Slovakia, it has leased over 6,000 sqm of warehouse space at Sázava Logistics Park, which was built by development and investment company UDI Group.

Price and yield moves on the Romanian property market will be influenced in the near future by both the availability and the cost of capital, while the overall volume of deals is likely to fall this year after reaching a 15-year high during 2022, suggest Colliers’ consultants. 

Despite many negative factors, Q4 2022 showed that the economy in Slovakia should grow by 1.8% in 2022. Energy prices were stabilized, inflation peaked and we could see the increase in yields. The Slovak industrial sector remained once more the most resilient real estate segment and experienced very solid performance in 2022. In the same period, the lack of new supply resulted in lowered vacancies in offices. Overall retail park projects dominate both this year’s new supply and future retail development with limited space for larger retail schemes due to high saturation. Cushman & Wakefield published its market reports for Q4 2022.

The volume of industrial and logistics projects slated for delivery in Romania this year will reach at least 510,000 sqm, compared with 875,000 sqm in 2022, according to data from JLL Romania.
