Dairy producer FrieslandCampina has become the first tenant of the Mureș City Logistics project jointly developed by Global Vision and Globalworth. The company will occupy one quarter of the newly built warehouse that will have a leasable area of 18,000 sqm in total.
FrieslandCampina opted for the project due to the proximity to the city area and to its production facility in Târgu Mureș. The company will start operations in the new project in Q1 2023. The total investment in the warehouse will reach €12 million.
“In the new modern and technologically advanced temperature-controlled logistics centre, we are confident that all our daily activities will be carried out according to our standards and values, and the operational routes will be seamlessly integrated into the logistics chain,” said Ferenc Szecskó, CEO of FrieslandCampina Romania.
Sorin Preda, CEO & Founder of Global Vision, added that developed projects especially the customized ones in locations chosen either by us or by our clients are calibrated based on the functions requested by our clients.
