The Polish industrial and logistics market continues its strong growth momentum, reveals BNP Paribas Real Estate Poland in its latest report for the second quarter of 2024. With robust occupier activity and stable volumes of new construction, Poland is among the top European industrial markets.

Industrial developer CTP has appointed Jovan Radosavljevic as its new Managing Director for Romania, tasked with overseeing the company’s expansion in the country. 

In the first half of 2024, the trends that emerged last year were consolidated and intensified in Ukraine’s office and industrial real estate market. The situation has stabilized and the market is gradually returning to pre-war numbers. Iryna Nastych summarised the situation in an article prepared by the Ukrainian Real Estate Club for Property Forum.

According to the 2024 Savills Nearshoring Index study, the Czech Republic is the second most attractive location for industrial occupiers looking for ‘nearshore’ supply chains. 

Equs has announced that its Equs Park Lovosice project has received a building permit and new premises are planned to be available at the beginning of 2025.

MLP Group has signed a long-term lease agreement with a Chinese manufacturer of automotive parts, which, as part of its global nearshoring strategy, will lease 23,000 sqm of modern warehouse and office space at the MLP Poznań West logistics centre. Construction of the facility will begin in the early fourth quarter of 2024, the handover is planed for the second quarter of 2025. The new building will meet the highest environmental standards, to be confirmed by BREEAM ‘Excellent’ certification.

The last unit of Arete Park Valašské Meziříčí has been finished and handed over to DB Schenker, completing the other two units in this park used by the same tenant.

Industrial developer CTP has launched its first CTBox building in Romania on the premises of CTPark Bucharest West. 

Investors originating from Belgium had the biggest share in Romania’s commercial property sector in the first eight months, according to a Fortim Trusted Advisors study. 

CTP has handed over a newly completed 18,000 sqm industrial and logistics building in CTPark Žatec to Fiege s.r.o. From this location, Fiege is planning to store and subsequently distribute tyres for retail clients from the Czech Republic, Moravia and Slovakia.
