The Prague Hilton, the largest hotel in the Czech Republic, offering almost eight hundred rooms and more than 7.000 sqm of space for holding conferences, may be changing owners soon, informs e15.cz.

Hilton has announced plans to open Italy’s first LXR Hotels & Resorts property, following a franchise agreement with Romanian group Pavăl Holding and Apex Alliance.

Hampton by Hilton Budapest City Centre has opened its doors to guests. Alongside 219 guest rooms, the hotel features a fitness centre and a lobby bar. Flexible social spaces offer the opportunity to work and meet during the day or socialize in the evening, including meeting spaces available for bookings, as well as on-site parking and EV charging for guest use.

Hilton decided to open six new DoubleTree by Hilton hotels in Europe, including two in CEE: one in Budapest and one in Brasov.

Venus Crown Residence Estate will develop the first DoubleTree by Hilton hotel in Brașov following the signing of a management agreement with Hilton. The hotel with 150+ guestrooms is expected to open in the summer of 2023 following an investment of €21 million. 

The Hilton hotel network has unveiled plans to open two new Hampton by Hilton hotels in Poland, following the signing of two franchise agreements.

IHG (InterContinental Hotels Group) has signed a management agreement with Granit Polus Group for a compelling property to be re-branded to Crowne Plaza Budapest in 2021. The hotel, located in downtown Pest in the same building complex as the Westend City Centre shopping centre, is currently operated by Hilton under the name Hilton Garden Inn Budapest City Centre.

Hilton Garden Inn opened its first hotel in Hungary, Hilton Garden Inn Budapest City Centre. Located just steps away from the Opera House and St Stephen’s Basilica, Hilton Garden Inn Budapest City Centre has 214 rooms.

Lithuanian company Apex Alliance, the owner of the Hilton Garden Inn hotel in Bucharest’s old town, will invest €90 million in four new hotels on the Romanian market. The hotels will operate under Marriot International and Hilton World Wide brands.

The first Hilton Garden Inn hotel in Romania is to be opened by end-2017 in Bucharest. The 201-room hotel will be located within an historic listed building in the city centre. Hilton Garden Inn Bucharest Old Town will be administered by hotel management company Apex Alliance Hotel Management.
