In a recent conversation with Property Forum at Expo Real, Karel Stránský, CTP’s newly appointed Group Business Development Director, shared his vision for advancing CTP’s growth in high-potential regions and expanding its solutions across markets. Joining CTP after a long career serving industrial tenants, Stránský discussed his immediate goals and what trends are set to reshape the logistics and warehousing industry by 2025.

Hungarian developer Biggeorge Property has extended its existing portfolio with an international residential property development division (Biggeorge Homes International) in Q4 2024, and brought aboard three new leaders to successfully implement its European expansion plans. Founder and CEO Tibor Nagygyörgy welcomes János Martin CEO, Zinaida Onczay-Vojnár International Business Development Director and Gábor Bakonyi-Kiss International Investment Manager in the group’s leadership. 

The leading Czech portal focused on residential real estate, Home Portal, has welcomed a significant new addition to its team — Tal Roma, joining from AFI Europe Czech Republic. He will be responsible for taking the role of the CEO of the Polish subsidiary and head of the company’s expansion into the Polish market.

Panattoni is extending its operations to the Baltic States, namely Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia. This new initiative is a response to the growing needs of customers for modern industrial solutions such as BTS.

Panattoni has completed the commercialisation of Panattoni Park Koluszki and launched work to extend the centre by 14,000 sqm. The centre’s current tenants Kamoka and Pet Republic have taken the decision to lease the additional space.

Panattoni has reached another milestone in the development of Wrocław South Logistics Hub. As a result of a new contract, one of its current tenants – a leading e-commerce operator – is to increase the size of its leased space by an additional 125,000 sqm. After the planned expansion, the tenant will occupy 180,000 sqm, or 70 pct of the park’s eventual total area. 

Accolade Group continues its international expansion. The Group recently expanded its portfolio with Croatia, its seventh European country. North of the city of Zagreb, Accolade has obtained a building permit for its first industrial hall of approximately 50,000 sqm. In parallel with this project, the group is working on other sites in the Balkans.

The Turawa Park shopping centre near Opole, Poland has received a building permit to proceed with the expansion. The upcoming stage of this project will incorporate an extra 10,000 square meters, expanding the total retail area of the shopping centre to 36,000 square meters.

GLP announced that Mastermedia, a leader in Polish food exports, has expanded its lease at GLP Poznań Airport Logistics Centre by an additional 11,840 sqm. As a result, Mastermedia has become the largest tenant at the logistics park, where it will now occupy a total of 28,775 sqm.

CTP has signed deals totalling 96,000 sqm at five of its logistics CTParks across the Czech Republic since the start of 2023. A range of factors including rising domestic consumption, strong economic growth and the trend for ‘nearshoring’ have led to multinationals continuing to expand their footprint in the country and the wider CEE region.
