Around 96% of Central European companies operate in a hybrid model, and nearly 90% have redesigned or rethought their office layout, according to a report by ThinkCo and Skanska. The research shows that concentration-supporting environments, flexible space usage and sustainability considerations increasingly influence employee decisions.

Demand for lounge-style offices is on the rise across the office world. Fit-out costs have also increased which forces developers and construction companies to prepare projects more thoroughly than before. ČEZ ESCO has completed the acquisition of Capexus, a Czech company engaged in the design, planning and implementation of modern and energy-efficient office space, as well as the revitalization of older commercial buildings. The merger of the two companies has already been approved by the Office for the Protection of Competition.
