Crestyl starts construction of first Polish project

Following the acquisition of Polish residential developer Budimex Nieruchomości - now renamed Spravia - construction of its first project has begun with its new owner, Czech developer and investor Crestyl. The two phases of the Mińska 69 residential complex in Warsaw will offer nearly four hundred apartments for long-term rent. Based on a previously concluded strategic partnership, they will be bought by Heimstaden Bostad, one of Europe’s leading residential real estate rental companies.

Crestyl to add six office buildings to Prague project

Local developer Crestyl plans to build six office buildings as part of the new Prague district Hagibor in the vicinity of Želivského metro station. The construction of the first phase, in which EP Real Estate is also involved, will start this year. Crestyl is also gradually building five residential buildings on the site. The cost of the entire project will exceed €350 million (CZK 9 billion), local daily E15 reports.

Crestyl and Cornerstone complete Budimex acquisition

Czech real estate developer and investor Crestyl, together with investment management firm Cornerstone Partners, completed the acquisition of Polish residential developer Budimex Nieruchomości. Budimex Nieruchomości was a subsidiary of Poland's largest construction group, Budimex SA, owned by the Spanish infrastructure giant Ferrovial.

Cornerstone Partners and Crestyl buy Budimex Nieruchomości

Cornerstone Partners, a corporate and real estate private equity investment manager, together with Crestyl Group, a Czech leader in developing multi-purpose real estate projects, have entered into a contract to buy Polish residential developer Budimex Nieruchomości. Other partners participating in the deal include blue-chip financial investors. The conclusion of the transaction is subject to approval from Poland's Anti-Monopoly Office.

Crestyl to issue bonds to finance Prague mixed-use project

Local developer Crestyl, through its subsidiary Savarin p.l.c., is issuing five-year zero-coupon bonds with a total nominal value of €84 million (CZK 2.2 billion) this week, with the possibility of increasing to CZK 3.3 billion. The purpose of the issue is to finance the Savarin project, which is being developed in the vicinity of Prague's Wenceslas Square and Na Příkopě Street. The multi-purpose complex also includes space for the installation of Alfons Mucha’s Slav Epic. The issue was prepared by J&T Banka and the bonds are also traded on the regulated market of the Prague Stock Exchange.

New leases

  • UDH, one of Poland’s largest distributors of premium imported beers, has leased approximately 1,400 sq m of modern warehouse and office space at the Park Rysy Kraków distribution centre. The tenant, which has chosen to expand its operations in southern Poland, was once again represented by AXI IMMO.
  • Golden Star Estate has secured a long-term lease agreement with global technology solutions and consulting provider C&F for nearly 1,900 sqm of office space at the Konstruktorska Business Center. Following the transaction, the property, located in Warsaw’s Mokotów business district, is now almost fully leased. The Polish branch of C&F will officially relocate to the facility at the beginning of 2027.
  • Natland Group has committed to its long-term presence at Prague-based Rohan Business Center through a lease extension covering 2,004 sqm of office space, together with storage facilities and dedicated parking spaces, in a deal brokered by iO Partners.

New appointments

  • Indotek Group has announced the appointment of Diederik Bakker as Group Chief Investment Officer and Group Head of Asset Management. In his new role, the Dutch real estate investment professional will gradually assume responsibility for the company's ITAM (investment, transaction, and asset management) activities across 12 European countries, supporting the next phase of Indotek Group’s growth. His focus includes facilitating sound investment decisions across Europe and developing a group-level portfolio management strategy that combines local market knowledge with international asset management know-how.
  • Peakside Capital Advisors has appointed Bogi Gabrovic to advise the board and support its investment and acquisition activities in Poland. Gabrovic brings more than 25 years of CEE real estate experience to the role, having previously held senior executive positions at CTP, Golub & Company, and White Star Real Estate, where she managed transactions exceeding €2 billion.
  • Katarína Brydone, Jana Vlková and Vendula Maršová have been appointed as the first Equity Partners of Colliers’ Czech business. Brydone brings more than 20 years of experience in international real estate. Vlková has more than 25 years of experience in commercial real estate. Maršová, Partner and Head of Valuation and Advisory Services, brings more than 16 years of experience in real estate valuation and advisory.
