Prologis has started the construction of a new, state-of-the-art speculative facility totalling 14,000 square meters at Prologis Park Budapest-Harbor to provide further sustainable space. Scheduled for completion in Q2 2020, the new building will even have its own motorway access.

Similarly to 2017, the Airbnb activity in Budapest showed strong growth (25% y-o-y) in overnight stay in 2018 as well, exceeding 1.8 million. HB Reavis has received a new syndicated loan from Erste Group and Raiffeisen Bank International Group (RBI Group) for the construction and development of Agora Budapest. The recently signed facility amount of €140 million makes it one of the largest in the Hungarian real estate sector. The financing club is led by Erste Group as book-runner and facility agent. Erste Group and RBI Group will finance the Agora Budapest project with equal parts.
