UDI Group completes logistics park in Central Bohemia

UDI Group has opened the fully completed Sázava Logistics Park on the D1 motorway near Ostředek in the Central Bohemia Region. The construction of the complex, which offers 50,000 sqm of space, required an investment of CZK 1 billion (€42 million). Approximately 300 employees have found work in four plants. The group is currently building another similar facility, which will offer 130,000 sqm of space in three halls. The investment is worth CZK 3 billion (€126 million).

Demand for BREEAM certifications remains steady in Romania

Adrian Pop, General Manager of ADP green building, talked to Property Forum about the demand for sustainability assessments of buildings and the company’s expansion into the ESG services segment, which is increasingly requested by real estate companies. In 2022 alone, the company completed 108 BREEAM certifications, more than double the previous year, for commercial projects across Romania.

All new Czech Horizon projects to be BREEAM certified

The Horizon development group has announced a commitment to build all new projects in accordance with internationally recognized BREEAM accreditation criteria for sustainable development. In 2024, projects to be submitted for BREEAM accreditation will include the Blízká project in Prague’s Karlín district, the third phase of Čámovka in Čimice, Arboret in Záběhlice, and both phases of the Aura Statenice project.

Speedwell gets permit for resi building in Bucharest

Belgian developer Speedwell has obtained the construction permit for the third building of The Ivy, the premium residential complex located in the Băneasa neighborhood, in Bucharest. The building is part of the second phase of development and represents an investment of €22 million, out of the €160 million value of the entire project.

Nowa Strzegomska in Wrocław gets BREEAM 'Excellent' certificate

The first building of the Nowa Strzegomska complex in Wrocław has received the BREEAM certificate with an Excellent rating. The redevelopment of Wrocław Business Park in Strzegomska Street will see the existing buildings replaced by five class A office buildings with an area of 10,000-15,000 sqm each. Cushman & Wakefield is the leasing agent for Nowa Strzegomska.

UBM Development Czechia to certify all resi projects

New leases

  • E-commerce player 4M Pro&Invest has leased nearly 4,100 sqm of warehouse space in Panattoni Park Poznań XIV. This agreement marks the completion of the leasing of the two completed phases of the development.
  • Panattoni has commenced construction on the latest phase of Panattoni Park Gorzów II, developing a bespoke BTS warehouse for DPD Polska. The facility will encompass 5,300 sqm tailored to the courier company’s operational requirements. DPD Polska is scheduled to begin operations at the new site in August 2026.
  • Romanian strategic advisory firm Infinexa Restructuring has relocated its HQ to GTC’s City Gate South Tower in Bucharest. The move supports their integrated approach to delivering complex debt restructuring, insolvency mandates, and preventive procedures for distressed companies.

New appointments

  • Panattoni has promoted Nick Cripps to the position of Head of International Capital Markets for Europe, the UK, the Middle East, and India. Based in London, Cripps is tasked with leading the firm’s global capital markets strategy across 18 diverse markets. He joined Panattoni five years ago as Head of UK Capital Markets.
  • PSN has expanded its acquisitions team with the arrival of Martin Šrytr as Business Development Manager. Most recently, he served as Real Estate Expansion Manager at Twistcafe Group, supporting the company’s EMEA growth. His previous experience includes consulting at Cushman & Wakefield, advisory roles at Prochazka & Partners, and management positions within IWG.
  • iO Partners has announced key leadership changes within its Czech Republic operations as part of its ongoing business evolution. Milan Kilik has been appointed as the new Head of Office Leasing, with a particular focus on client advisory and team collaboration. Concurrently, Petr Kareš has transitioned into the role of Occupier Business Development Director. In this new capacity, he will be responsible for identifying new market opportunities and integrating services across Tenant Representation, Project Management, and Industrial Leasing.
