NEPI Rockcastle, through its subsidiary, has acquired all the issued shares in the Forum Gdańsk shopping centre from a company ultimately owned by Blackstone-managed funds. The transaction encompassed the repayment of all the asset’s outstanding debt. Forum Gdańsk is a 63,500 sqm GLA shopping centre, situated in Gdańsk, the sixth largest city in Poland by population, with over 470,000 inhabitants.
The leading logistics developer has made a €21 billion offer for a huge chunk of „last mile” properties, Bloomberg reports. None of the parties made comments on the news but Blackstone said earlier that a capital increase worth €21 billion was on the agenda.
Savills, together with Eastdil Secured, has advised Macquarie Capital Principal Finance and Elite Partners Capital on the sale of a pan-European logistics portfolio, Elite Logistics Fund I to Blackstone European Property Income Fund (BEPIF) for €520 million.
Blackstone announced the launch of its pan-European last mile logistics real estate company, Mileway. The new company owns and operates approximately 1,000 logistics assets that have been acquired by real estate funds managed by Blackstone over the last several years.
Blackstone announced the final close of its latest global real estate fund, Blackstone Real Estate Partners IX. BREP IX has $20.5 billion of total capital commitments — the largest real estate fund ever raised. Blackstone is also currently investing two regional opportunistic funds, the €7.9 billion BREP Europe V and the $7.2 billion BREP Asia II.
Dentons’ Real Estate team in Warsaw has advised Hines Global REIT on the sale of a portfolio of five logistics properties in Poland. The transaction value was approximately €140 million. The assets were acquired by Gemini Poland Holdcos, affiliates of Blackstone Group.
Blackstone Property Partners Europe Lower Fund 2 plans to acquire 24 logistics centres from Goodman. The buyer intends to buy assets and shares in several companies which own properties in Poland, France and Germany.
Union Investment has expanded its Polish shopping centre portfolio by making its first investment of this kind in Wrocław. The latest addition to open-ended real estate fund Unilmmo: Europa is Magnolia Park, which comprises some 100,000 sqm of retail space. Sold to Union Investment by Blackstone for around €380 million, the shopping centre is almost fully let, with leases having an average of 4.2 years to run. The shopping centre will continue to be managed by Multi after the sale. Cushman & Wakefield advised Union Investment on the transaction.
Echo Polska Properties announced the conclusion of the acquisition of three retail assets, Twierdza in Kłodzko, Twierdza in Zamość and Wzorcownia in Włocławek in Poland, from real estate funds managed by Blackstone for €141.60 million.
Real estate funds managed by Blackstone have agreed to sell their pan European logistics company, Logicor, to affiliates of China Investment Corporation (CIC) for €12.25 billion. Logicor owns and operates a portfolio of high-quality logistics assets totalling 147 million square feet, in 17 countries with over 70% concentrated in the UK, Germany, France and Southern Europe.
A popular brand joins the ranks of tenants at Galeria Bemowo in Warsaw. The Tchibo shop opened on Thursday, February 2nd. The store, with an area of over 155 sq m, is located on the ground floor.
Emons is expanding its network of logistics centres in the Czech Republic. As of February 2023, Emons opens a new logistics centre in Ostředek, leasing over 6,000 sqm of warehouse space in the Sázava Logistics Park.
OmniOffice, a serviced office provider, is joining the tenants of Warsaw UNIT. The company has leased 3090 sqm of office space in a Ghelamco high-rise building in the Polish capital.

He is currently pursuing an EMBA at the University of Sheffield in the UK. Cateliu is a graduate of the Faculty of Political Sciences within the SNSPA, subsequently following a master's program and earning an Erasmus scholarship at the University of Trieste in Italy.
