Panattoni has fully commercialised another development – Panattoni Park Toruń. Stork, a company that provides logistics for clients from the food industry, has leased over 11,000 sqm and is to serve the Eastern European market from the centre.

The Kuyavian-Pomeranian industrial real estate market has become one of the fastest growing in Poland over the last few years and its current total stock stands at over 800,000 sqm. Panattoni has already delivered around 450,000 sqm having built centres in Bydgoszcz, Grudziądz and Toruń, where the developer has now just commercialised a two-building complex of 35,600 sqm in its entirety. Courier firms, food companies and global logistics operators have chosen Panattoni Park Toruń and it is these last two industries that are combined by Stork, which is the largest tenant in the development and has now enlarged its area within the complex to 11,150 sqm. The logistics operator runs operations from the park for three clients from the food industry, which is one of the sectors that the company specialises in.

“Another fully commercialised park in Kujawy demonstrates the huge potential of this market. The fact that the commercialisation was completed with an expansion also gives an excellent illustration of Stork’s development in the region. Moreover, we have once again proven that the high standard of our buildings, which includes their sustainable construction, superbly meets the needs of our clients and their policies,” says Dorota Jagodzińska-Sasson, Managing Director at Panattoni.

“Panattoni Park Toruń’s excellent location next to the Lubicz motorway junction has allowed us to strengthen our operations in the region and support our clients effectively to serve the Eastern European market. Our development and our growing volumes naturally forced us to take on a larger area so expansion was the next obvious step, particularly when we had a tried and tested location,” says Bartosz Michalski Chairman of the Management Board of Stork and he adds: “The process was made significantly easier by Panattoni’s partnership approach since they reacted to the changes in the market situation by proposing the best solutions from the point of view of the client.”

Panattoni Park Toruń is near the Lubicz junction and not far from the A1 motorway which runs from Poland’s northern coast to its southern border. It is also nearby the future S10 expressway, which is under construction between Szczecin and the Warsaw region. Being located in Kujawy also means it is a journey of under two hours to get to the Port of Gdańsk, one of the largest ports in Europe. Together with its location, Panattoni Park Toruń also benefits from solutions to make it more ecological and improve the well-being of its users. These include green areas, cycling facilities and electric vehicle charging stations. The complex comprises two buildings, one with an area of 19,910 sqm and the other with an area of 15,700 sqm.

Panattoni is continuously developing it Kuyavia-Pomerania portfolio. Among other things, the developer has begun work on its Panattoni Park Bydgoszcz IV complex, which is to have an eventual build-out area of 110,000 sqm. In the city and its surroundings, the company has already handed over a quarter of a million sqm and around 230,000 sqm is still under construction. Additionally, Panattoni Park Grudziądz is still in development and will eventually comprise an area of 70,000 sqm.
