CTP begins construction of 46,600 sqm logistics park in Poland

CTP has started the construction of its new 46,600 sqm industrial and logistics park in Toruń, Poland. On a plot of more than 14 hectares, adjacent to key traffic arteries, the developer will build two facilities with a total area of more than 46,600 sqm. CTPark Toruń will be an urban warehouse with flexible lease modules for small businesses - known as CTBox and CTFlex. The first phase of the development is scheduled for completion in the last quarter of 2025.

Panattoni Park Toruń II secures three new tenants

Three new tenants have leased space in Panattoni Park Toruń II: global logistics operators Dachser and Hellmann Worldwide Logistics Polska as well as a wholesale distributor of FMCG products. The companies will be moving into the complex in Q3 this year. Panattoni has now delivered more than 300,000 sqm in the region.

Panattoni Europe expands in Toruń

Panattoni Europe expands its portfolio in the Kuyavia-Pomerania region. The cornerstone has been laid under Panattoni Park Toruń II with planned space of 57,500 sqm. The two-building complex is being built in the north-eastern part of Toruń and has already secured its first tenant – a logistics operator, set to take up 5,000 sqm. Stage one of the investment process – a hall featuring close to 16,500 sqm – will be completed by next March.

Panattoni Europe expands in Poznań and Toruń

Panattoni Europe is building 90,000 sqm of space across three parks the outskirts of Poznań – in Jaryszki (Panattoni Park Poznań VII), Komorniki (Panattoni Park Poznań IV), and Swadzim (Panattoni Park Poznań IX), with 200,000 sqm more planned. The developer is also investing in Cuiavia-Pomerania. Construction works at Panattoni Park Toruń II with more than 62,500 sqm are about to start in the coming July. The distribution centre will be put into operation as soon as Q1 2020.

Plaza Centers to sell Torun Plaza for €70 million

A Plaza Centers subsidiary has signed a non-binding letter of intent with an unnamed investment fund regarding the sale of the Torun Plaza shopping and entertainment centre in Poland. The LOI binds the purchaser to a strict timeline for undertaking a comprehensive due diligence process which would result in the transaction being completed by the middle of September 2017.

New leases

  • Cordon Electronics, a specialist in electronics and advanced technologies, has renewed its lease agreement at MLP Pruszków II, in the immediate vicinity of Warsaw. The company will continue to occupy a total of 7,770 sqm of modern space, a footprint that includes 458 sqm dedicated to office operations.
  • mBank, the digital banking company in Poland, has decided to relocate its largest corporate branch in Lower Silesia to the Infinity office building in Wrocław. The company will occupy nearly 1,300 sqm on the fourth floor of the building. The tenant will move into the development owned by Avestus Real Estate and Alchemy Properties in January 2027.
  • GSP Global Solutions Provider has further expanded its cooperation with CTP by leasing an additional nearly 7,000 sqm in CTPark Budapest Vecsés on a long-term basis.

New appointments

  • Krzysztof Wróblewski (MRICS) has been named Head of Portfolio Management CEE at Peakside Capital Advisors, responsible for overseeing investments and managing the real estate portfolio. He succeeds Christopher Smith in this role.
  • Garbe Industrial is reorganising its senior leadership team. CEO Christopher Garbe will now focus on strategic orientation and international activities. Jan Philipp Daun assumes leadership of the Development division alongside his existing Investment and Joint Venture responsibilities. Andrea Agrusow expands her remit to include Portfolio Management while retaining control of Commercial and Real Estate Management. Additionally, Michael Marcinek and Maik Zeranski will now jointly head the restructured Development unit as Management Board Members, succeeding Adrian Zellner.
  • CPI Property Group is strengthening its leasing structure with the appointment of Agnieszka Baczyńska as Head of Leasing. In her new role, she will be responsible for shaping and executing the leasing strategy across the group’s office and retail portfolio in Poland. At the same time, Izabela Potrykus has been appointed Leasing Office Director. Baczyńska brings more than 20 years of experience in the commercial real estate market. Prior to joining CPI Property Group in 2022, she served as International Leasing Director at Neinver Polska.
