Panattoni has received financing from BNP Paribas Bank Polska for the largest industrial park in Bydgoszcz. The €54 million loan is for the developer to finance Panattoni Park Bydgoszcz IV – a 110,000 sqm complex of three buildings that was handed over in July this year and is now 90% commercialised

“When the time came for us to hand the largest park in Bydgoszcz over for use, we were already nearing its full commercialisation, which proves the huge potential of the location. Our modern industrial space superbly meets the needs of business and thus drives the development of the region and the creation of new jobs. The investment policy of our company is based on solid fundamentals and this has also been noticed by financial institutions. The €54 million loan demonstrates the huge confidence they have in our development. We want to thank BNP Paribas Polska for working with us and we are looking forward to more such joint projects”, comments Karina Trojańska, the Chief Financing & Operating Officer for Poland at Panattoni.

For two years in a row, the business potential of the location has been featured in the European Cities of the Future ranking published by the Financial Times. In 2022, Bydgoszcz found itself in the top ten medium-sized cities in Europe for its ‘Investment Sourcing Strategy’. However, in 2023, the city took eighth place for its ‘Cost Effectiveness’ and sixth place for the ‘Best FDI Strategy’. The results of the ranking were announced in the French city of Cannes during MIPIM, the world’s largest real estate fair.

Panattoni continues to drive forward the development of Bydgoszcz, where it has already developed close to half a million square metres. The developer has already developed three BTS centres for leading hypermarket chains and an e-commerce clothing giant. As well as this, Panattoni has also completed four industrial parks.

Panattoni Park Bydgoszcz IV provides tenants with warehouse and office space. As part of the developer’s high standard, the entire complex has been certified under BREEAM for a rating of Excellent. Altogether Panattoni has acquired ecological certification for 8 million sqm in Poland, which is around half of all the certified industrial space in the country.
