Panattoni has secured financing from BNP Paribas. The €40 million loan will support the development of Panattoni Park Sosnowiec IV. The investment will comprise nearly 63,000 sqm across two buildings, with over half of the space already leased to a big retail chain.

Jolanta Sarnowska, Director of Real Estate Finance at BNP Paribas Polska, talked to Property Forum about the asset classes considered safe by banks in Poland, the impact of the ESG issues on financing availability and the current stance of the western investment funds.

Investment in the hotel sector is experiencing a significant upswing, with Romania witnessing a 56% increase in 2024 versus 2023, reaching €69.3 million. This trend aligns with a broader European surge, where hotel investments reached €20.5 billion, marking a 70% rise and establishing hotels as the leading asset class.

Panattoni has been granted a loan for the development of a new distribution centre for a large retailer. The €36.5 million loan was granted by BNP Paribas. The BTS centre is to be built in Szczecin and will comprise an area of over 54,000 sqm.

MLP Group has completed a transaction with BNP Paribas Bank Polska S.A., securing financing of €21.5 million. The funds will be used to refinance the construction of a 34,600-square-meter warehouse facility at the MLP Pruszków II logistics centre. Legal advisory for the bank was provided by Kycia Legal Banking Finance.

Industrial developer CTP has announced the signing of a 5-year €500 million unsecured syndicated sustainability-linked loan facility at a fixed all-in cost of 4.7%. At the same time, the company launched a concurrent tender offer which will enable the group to repurchase short dated bonds with a total nominal amount of €500 million.

Atenor signed one of the first green loan transactions in Poland, totalling €38 million in collaboration with BNP Paribas Bank Polska and Santander Bank Polska. 

Panattoni has launched the construction of Panattoni Park Grodzisk V in the village of Natolin with the development being financed by a €17 million loan. The financing has been provided by BNP Paribas bank. 

Panattoni has received financing from BNP Paribas Bank Polska for the largest industrial park in Bydgoszcz. The €54 million loan is for the developer to finance Panattoni Park Bydgoszcz IV – a 110,000 sqm complex of three buildings that was handed over in July this year and is now 90% commercialised

MLP Group has signed a new financing agreement with BNP Paribas Bank Polska S.A., whereby the Bank has committed over €19.7 million. The facility will be used to finance and partially refinance the MLP Czeladź project with a target leasable area of approximately 68,000 sqm. The Kycia Legal law firm advised on the transaction.
