Panattoni has announced that the construction of a new BTS facility within Panattoni Park Sosnowiec V is underway, with completion slated for the end of this year. The 11,000 sqm warehouse is being built for InPost, a leader in logistics services and owner of the Paczkomat parcel locker network.
"The project for InPost is an example of a tenant-tailored investment that supports its growth through the use of technological solutions," says Marek Dobrzycki, Partner at Panattoni.
The new facility will be adapted to the tenant's operational requirements. The cross-dock warehouse will be equipped with technical infrastructure, including sorting technology and solutions supporting energy efficiency. Operations at the facility are scheduled to start this September.
Panattoni Park Sosnowiec V is a warehouse and logistics complex with a target area of 52,000 sqm. The first phase of the development, due for completion at the end of 2025, comprises a hall with an area of over 33,000 sqm. The park already has its first tenant – the Hebe drugstore chain, part of the Jeronimo Martins Group.
The complex is located 16 km from the centre of Katowice and 19 km from Katowice Airport. Its proximity to the S1 expressway (2.2 km) and its junction with the A4 motorway (12 km) ensures access to the main transport routes in Poland and the region. The development will be certified to Breeam standard.
