The MLP Group has allocated land for the construction of a new distribution center for MAKRO Polska to be built in the MLP Czeladź logistics park. It is anticipated that the construction will be complete and the finished warehouses will be handed over to the tenant in June 2018.


The MLP Group is beginning the construction of the third distribution center customized for MAKRO Polska. The site for the construction of the facility has just been released to the construction company. The new facility with a total surface area of 8,600 square meters will be built in the MLP Czeladź logistics park. The construction is scheduled to be complete and the finished facility is expected to be handed over to the tenant in June 2018. The general contractor services will be provided by Mirbud.
 
The MLP Group has already provided two distribution centers to MAKRO Polska. The first one is the MLP Pruszków II logistics park and has a surface area of 10,100 square meters and the second one is in MLP Wrocław with a surface area of 8,600 square meters. This means that the MLP Group will provide the MAKRO Polska chain with a total of 27,300 square meters of modern warehousing space under the comprehensive contract entered into between these two entities. The facilities provided to MAKRO Polska are fitted with state-of-the-art technological solutions, including a C02-based cooling system, featuring low energy consumption and a high level of security.
 
MLP Czeladź is a modern logistic park under construction and when completed shall comprise of Class A building totalling over 74,200 sqm of warehouse and light industry buildings. The park is located near the junction of the A4 motorway with the S1 expressway, 15 km from the airport in Katowice and 11 km from the city centre, in the proximity of the road and express S86 from Łódź to Tychy.

New appointments

  • Katarzyna Myjak has joined Axi Immo as Senior Business Advisory Manager, tasked with strengthening the company’s Industrial & Logistics business line.
  • Czech investment group SCF has expanded its team by appointing Jan Simandl as Senior Leasing Team Leader. In this role, Simandl will oversee leasing activities across the company’s commercial property portfolio. He previously worked for CPI Property Group and CBRE.
  • Michał Kochanowski-Laren has joined Avison Young Poland’s Technical Advisory and Project Management team as Project Manager. In his new role, he is responsible for delivering a variety of consultancy projects across all segments of the commercial real estate market in Poland. Kochanowski-Laren is an electrical engineer and a graduate of the Warsaw University of Technology.
