Futureal sells Corvin Skypark in Budapest to OTP fund

Futureal Group sold its Skypark office building to the OTP Prime Property Investment Fund. The recently closed transaction increased the value of the fund’s property portfolio to over HUF40 billion. The complex, with 25,000 square meters of GLA, is located at the Corvin Promenade mixed use project in the center of Budapest and was designed to meet the needs of technology and R&D companies.

M7 Real Estate announced that its first Central European fund for third party investors, M7 Central European Real Estate Fund I (M7 CEREF I), has now completed its final close, reaching its target raise of €60 million of investor capital. This follows investor commitments of more than €35 million at its first close in October 2016.

The departure of ICU Medical from the manufacturing complex in the southwestern Slovak city of Vráble, made a modern light–industrial facility available for sale on a vacant possession basis. The complex consists of facility with a gross usable area of 7,000 sqm and 3 ha of available land for further development The new owner, Slovak company TESGAL, provides surface treatments of metal parts used mostly in the automotive and consumer industry.

EPP raises €150 million on JSE

Johannesburg Stock Exchange (JSE) listed Polish property group Echo Polska Properties (EPP) raised approximately ZAR2.2 billion (around €150 million) in an accelerated bookbuilding through the placing of app. 119 million new shares at a price of ZAR18.50 per share. Capital will be used to previously announced acquisitions and for further M&A opportunities in the retail segment within Poland.

Atenor completes sale of third Budapest building

Atenor confirmed the closing of the sale of the third building of the Váci Greens campus in Budapest to Hungarian real estate fund OTP Prime Ingatlanbefektetesi Alap and consequently the collection of the full sale price, i.e. €63.75 million. Váci Greens B comprises 25,300 sqm of office space and 399 basement parking spaces.

CA Immo completes withdrawal from logistics by Budapest sale

With the sale of its 51% holding in the Aerozone logistics park to M7 CEREF I in Budapest, CA Immo has completed the strategic withdrawal from the logistics segment that began in 2012. Over the past few years, almost 500,000 sqm of logistical space in total has been sold in Poland, Romania, Hungary and Germany.

First Property Group sells Ploiești warehouse

First Property Group has agreed to sell one of its three directly held properties in Romania, a logistics warehouse in Ploiesti, for €3.2 million.  The purchaser, Aquila Part Prod SRL is also the current occupier of the property.

New leases

  • Hungarian startup Colossyan has leased 1,000 sqm at Academia Offices, in Budapest, at the end of May. The office project was opened six months ago and has already reached an occupancy rate of 80%.
  • PGD Sp. z o.o., a distributor of products for bakeries, confectioneries and ice-cream parlours, has leased approx. 2,000 sqm of production and warehouse space in Waimea Airport Logistics Park Szczecin-Goleniów investment. Axi Immo was the agent representing the tenant in negotiating and selecting a new location.
  • Tetra Pak, a global player in food processing and packaging industry, has leased approximately 1,200 sqm of space in Lakeside in Warsaw. JLL Poland is responsible for the exclusive commercialisation of the building, owned by Atenor.

New appointments

  • Robert Rogowski, former Vice President of the Management Board of Invest TDJ Estate, has been dismissed from his position. Magdalena Sierankiewicz has been appointed in his place.
  • Cushman & Wakefield Echinox appointed Cristina Lupașcu as Head of Marketing. She joined Cushman & Wakefield Echinox in 2021 as Director PR & Research, being responsible for assisting both the PR & Marketing and Research departments. Lupașcu has more than 20 years’ worth of experience in media and real estate.
  • Karolina Kunciak, an expert with experience in retail consultancy, has joined CBRE Poland. She will be responsible for high streets.
