Garbe Industrial Real Estate is moving ahead with expansion into new development projects in Poland. With this purpose in mind, two experts experienced in the warehouse real estate sector have been appointed as Managing Directors and local subsidiary’s members of the management board. Adrian Biesaga and Michał Stachura joined the Warsaw-based Garbe branch at the beginning of September this year.

Recently, Adrian Biesaga and Michał Stachura together managed the warehouse development brand LCube. They bring a successful track-record gained within a very competitive market and experience in growing a well-coordinated team, which has been proven by building strong relationships with tenants, investors and financial providers.

“We are pleased to welcome top professionals and managers to the Garbe family. Adrian and Michał will play a key role in our ambitious expansion plans to develop new projects in Poland. I am convinced that their experience and knowledge of the local market will allow us to spread our wings even further and lead with our key values, caring for sustainability, technical innovations and the highest quality of developments. Compared to other European markets, demand for industrial and warehouse space in Poland boasts record-breaking results in H1 2024”, said Martin Polák, Managing Director at Garbe Industrial Real Estate for Central and Eastern Europe.

Adrian Biesaga, as Co-Managing Director and Board Member, will be responsible for the development of the Garbe real estate portfolio in Poland. His 20 years of experience in the construction sector will strengthen the firm’s development competencies at the planning phase, through its coordination, to investments’ handover. Prior to joining Garbe, Adrian was a Co-Founder and Member of the Board of LCube, also serving as the company's Head of Development. Previously he worked, among others, at P3 Logistic Parks. He is a graduate of the Warsaw University of Technology and Executive MBA studies at the Kozminski University. He is also a BREEAM Assessor and a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.

Michał Stachura, as Co-Managing Director and Board Member, will be responsible for obtaining financing and working closely with investors in Poland. He has over 15 years of professional experience in finance and corporate banking, which he gained in top management positions. Before joining Garbe, he was a Co-founder and Board Member of LCube. Michał is a graduate of the Kozminski University with a Master of Business Administration, Finance (MBA), and Economics and Finance Controlling from the University of Szczecin, as well as the WSB Merito Poznan University. He is also a Member of the Urban Land Institute in Poland.

The growth of the development business in Poland is part of the expansion strategy of Garbe Industrial Real Estate in the CEE markets. The company plans to create a diverse portfolio of investments – from smaller city logistics assets, through medium-sized warehouses, to “big box” projects in logistics parks. Initially, Garbe will focus on core market locations such as Warsaw, central Poland, Silesia, Tricity, Kraków, Poznań and Wrocław. By the end of next year, the Polish branch of Garbe intends to finalize the purchase of land for new developments with a total area of approx. 500 000 square meters. Alongside the expansion of the company’s development arm, Garbe plans to further grow its local team in Poland.
