The leasing department of Echo Investment finalised the lease of the last unit just before the opening of an extended part of Galaxy in Szczecin. Echo Investment is responsible for the construction and lease of the facility for EPP which is the owner and manager of Galaxy.

The extended part of the Galaxy shopping centre has an area of 16,500 sqm. Companies which have been invited to this project include: Reserved, Forever21, CCC, Media Expert, a Calypso fitness club, Go Sport, Deichmann, Rossmann, Smyk, Sephora and Medicine.

“Galaxy is the thirtieth retail project carried out by Echo Investment and we are proud of the fact that it is also our thirtieth success. Thanks to the contract with Pako Lorente we can hand Galaxy over to its owner with a hundred per cent lease. This is a well-known and appreciated shopping centre but its new part will certainly additionally increase its attractiveness. A few weeks ago we completed the last stage of Outlet Park in Szczecin, which is also part of EPP’s portfolio, and was also fully leased. I am glad that Echo Investment has such a significant influence on the retail map of Szczecin,” says Marcin Materny, Member of the Noard at Echo Investment, who is responsible for investments in the retail sector.

The Galaxy shopping and entertainment centre was completed in 2003 but it has been extended since 2016. After the opening of the new section, on 15 November, it will include nearly 200 shops and service outlets over an area of nearly 60,000 sqm. Galaxy is located in the centre of Szczecin and it offers a five-storey car park for 1,500 cars. Since 2016 it has been included in the portfolio of EPP, which is responsible for the management of the facility.

Optimism prevails in CEE real estate as geopolitical risk looms large

by Property Forum
CEE's real estate market enters the second quarter of 2026 in a mood of measured confidence. According to Property Forum's survey of nearly 200 real estate professionals from across the region, the majority expect either stable but selective deal flow or a moderate recovery in transaction activity over the next 12 months. Residential and logistics assets lead on risk-adjusted appeal, and Poland remains the undisputed long-term growth leader. Yet beneath the cautious optimism, one concern towers above all others: geopolitical tensions, cited by nearly two-thirds of respondents as the greatest threat to the market.
