Chariot Top Group BV, a company managed by Griffin Real Estate, has finalized the sale of the investment plot located in Katowice at Al. Górnośląska.

The property being sold was part of the portfolio of 28 real estate assets that Chariot acquired in January 2018. The purchase of the portfolio with a value of approx. €1 billion by the company created and managed by Griffin Real Estate was the largest transaction on the Polish commercial real estate market in 2018.

“We are very pleased with the successful transaction. The excellent location of the plot, in the immediate vicinity of the highway A4, provides multiply investment opportunities. Another finalized contract on the Chariot account proves that despite the pandemic, the properties in our portfolio attract the interest of both tenants and investors,” said Piotr Fijołek, Senior Partner at Griffin Real Estate, responsible for the Chariot platform.

At negotiating the agreement, Griffin Real Estate was advised by Linklaters law firm. CBRE and JLL acted as commercial advisors.

Chariot is managed by Griffin Real Estate – a private equity investor operating in the real estate sector. Chariot’s portfolio currently consists of M1 Marki shopping centre, 4 so-called retail parks and 12 hypermarkets with such operators as Auchan and Bi1, with a total GLA of about 350,000 sqm.
