CBRE promotes Tudor Ionescu as Head of Advisory & Transaction Services for the office sector of CBRE Romania. The nomination of Tudor, a professional architect, specialised in workplace consultancy, represents a change of strategy of CBRE, which becomes the first real estate company focusing on the experience of users in office spaces.

Starting with November, Tudor Ionescu will take over the position of Head of Advisory & Transaction Services, Office Sector within CBRE Romania. Tudor has over 17 years of experience in the design, office and hotel industry. The decision to promote Tudor marks the evolution of CBRE Romania's office department towards the provision of integrated real estate services, based on commercial, technical and architectural knowledge, to which the extended expertise on rental services is added, both for the local and for the global clients.

"It is a total paradigm shift, in which we believed and therefore felt the need to act. When you are a market leader, you have also the duty to prove the theory you believe in. Therefore, we go far with the excellence of the services offered by the promotion of Tudor, which in the last two years at CBRE has specialized in Workplace Consultancy projects in Romania, Austria and the Netherlands”, stated Răzvan Iorgu, Managing Director, CBRE Romania.

As Head of Advisory & Transaction Services for the office sector of CBRE Romania, Tudor Ionescu will work closely with the two managers within the department, Alina Calciu, responsible with the Occupier Services and Vlad Damian, for the Investor Leasing segment.

Tudor Ionescu joined the CBRE Romania team in 2017, laying the foundations of the workplace consultancy division, responsible for identifying the appropriate concepts and work solutions for companies that endeavour to make their office work more efficient.

"The office space is continually evolving, together with the expansion of the companies as a structure, of the technology and together with us as individuals. The skills that clients need in a relocation or planning process are now changing to understanding the space as a personalized experience, in accordance with the philosophy and dynamics of each team in particular. I am pleased to be given the opportunity to coordinate this strategy, which CBRE will implement for the first time on the Romanian real estate market”, added Tudor Ionescu, Head of Advisory & Transaction Services, Office, CBRE Romania.

Mihai Păduroiu, who has filled the role of Head of Advisory & Transaction Services, Office, within the CBRE Romania for the last four years, has decided to devote himself to real estate development activity.
