Savills Investment Management has signed a lease extension at Park Szczecin Trzebusz with Carlsberg Supply Company Polska S.A., a member of one of the world’s largest brewers, Carlsberg Group. Carlsberg decided to continue leasing almost 15,000 sqm of warehouse space at the facility.

Gabriela Matysek-Mazurczak, Asset Manager at Savills IM Poland, commented: “I am very pleased that we can announce such a significant transaction so early in 2023. The extension of the lease with Carlsberg Supply Company Polska S.A. is a result of our excellent long-term cooperation and also confirms the high quality of the Park Szczecin Trzebusz warehouse project. Its location close to the state border, with excellent access to the seaport and airport, certainly gives it an edge. Such a great spot makes it possible for all our tenants to distribute their products extremely efficiently and quickly, both in Poland and abroad.”

Marcin Będlin, Warehouse & H&S Manager at Carlsberg Poland, added: “We have decided to extend the lease of our warehouse space at the Trzebusz park for reasons including the warehouse’s location, its high quality, and our excellent cooperation so far with Savills IM, including their readiness to introduce solutions to improve the work of our team. The warehouse space we lease meets Carlsberg Poland’s expectations as to the amount of available space, the facilities at the building and its location, which enables efficient distribution of our products in Poland and on foreign markets.”

Park Szczecin Trzebusz is a logistics project commissioned in 2019. The facility offers a total of 70,000 sqm of warehouse space at ul. Cynkowa 12, in the Dąbie district in the eastern part of the city of Szczecin. An advantage of the site is its access to a direct exit from the A6 motorway, which connects Szczecin and Berlin. The property is also well connected to the S3 expressway, state road 10, the Szczecin–Goleniów airport about 30 km away, and the seaport. The Szczecin Subzone of the Euro-Park Mielec Special Economic Zone is located in close proximity to the development.

The warehouse space at Park Szczecin Trzebusz consists of two class A buildings, equipped with LED lighting, gas heating, a sprinkler system, a dock area with ramps and ground-level gates, CCTV monitoring, as well as a vehicle access management system. The space can be adapted for both storage and light manufacturing purposes. The property also has manoeuvring spaces and parking lots. The facility, which is part of the Savills IM portfolio, received a BREEAM International New Construction certificate.
