The Medezin factory has started production in a 7R investment in Konstantynów Łódzki, Poland. This is the second brand that belongs to the Pelion Group, the largest healthcare company in Poland, which operates in the 7R Park Łódź West I. The storage area for Medezin was designed in the BTS formula and was adapted to the specific needs of the pharmaceutical industry.

The developer has prepared over 3,700 sqm of warehouse and industrial area which is divided into a pharmaceutical factory and a wholesale warehouse. In addition, the company occupies 450 sqm of office space located near the production and storage area. The Medezin factory, which is on the outskirts of Łódź, will supply other companies of the Pelion Group with medical products. The Polish Pharmaceutical Group, DOZ pharmacy chain and Natura drugstores are the most well-known brands of the Pelion Pharmaceutical Group.

"Łódź is an extremely important location for us from a strategic point. In the building that we designed with the warehouse developer, 7R, we will launch a production line where secondary packaging of medicinal products will be manufactured. This type of production process requires specific restrictions in the location where the medicine is produced and stored. With our close cooperation with 7R, we have managed to create a space that meets our needs and allows us to develop our business in the center of Poland,"s Paweł Pyć, Project Manager in Medezin.

In the building, there is the possibility to control the temperature from 15 to 25°C. Moreover, the developer has installed a refrigeration area for storing medicinal products in the temperature range of between 2 and 8°C. There is also an hourly exchange of air in the production area. What’s more, 7R has implemented for Medezine a special trans-shipment hub called "autodock", which allows for temperature compensation inside the warehouse during loading operations.

Commercecon is the general contractor for the investment and AXI IMMO advised the tenant during lease negotiations.

7R Park Łódź West I is a modern warehouse park with a total area of 32,000 sqm, consisting of two A-class facilities, located on Inwestycyjna Street in Konstantynów Łódzki.

Both buildings included in 7R Park Łódź West I are BREEAM certified.
