108 Real Estate has appointed André Kerremans as Business Development Director for Central and Eastern Europe. He has taken up the position and is already working with the group's branches across the five countries in the region. His role covers two areas: regional business development and CEE coordination. On the commercial side, he will develop cross-border mandates and build relationships with heads of real estate, supply chain directors and procurement leaders at logistics, e-commerce, manufacturing and third-party logistics companies operating across the region.
Kerremans brings thirty years of experience in the industrial property market, having held senior management and board-level positions at ILD, IIG and Van Moer Logistics. He holds a bachelor's degree in Information and Communication Technology from Ghent and a master's degree in Logistics Management. For more than thirteen years he was responsible for developing the logistics portfolio of Belgian developer ILD in the CEE region, leading tenant negotiations and managing the subsequent sale of properties to institutional investors.
"This is exactly what we need as our group continues to grow. We have strong local teams in five countries; what the next stage requires is someone who operates across borders, connecting our markets, driving cross-country mandates and building the senior relationships that no single country team can maintain alone," said Jakub Holec, CEO of 108 Real Estate. Holec added that Kerremans would help develop the firm's services and establish its position at a pan-European level.
108 Real Estate is headquartered in Prague and operates across the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania and the Adria region. Kerremans will identify cross-border client opportunities, share best practices in deal structuring and client approach across the group's markets, and champion the use of the group's 108 HUB and 108 MAP platforms across all industrial teams.
"My task is to help bring 108 Real Estate to the continental top tier. We will combine top local and regional expertise and experienced, well-functioning teams with pan-European know-how backed by numerous positive references. In building new business relationships, I will draw on my experience and contacts from Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany, France and a number of other countries," said Kerremans, who speaks Dutch, English and French.
