Sándor Finta graduated from the Budapest University of Technology and Economics as an architect in 2000. After spending three years in the Pálffy & Associates Inc. Architects & Planners (Budapest-Tokyo) design bureau he became the cofounder and leader of the sporaarchitects (www.sporaarchitects.hu) architect design bureau in Budapest, the work of which is regularly published in several local and international media. Being an open approach young design bureau, where architects, designers and thinkers from other fields create a community on the field of architecture, urban development, research and development. Between 2004 and 2009, teacher of the drawing and composition department of the BME, where he teaches freehand drawing and design. Since 2005 he is one of the founder and the chair of the board of trustees of the internationally recognized KÉK - Kortárs Építészeti Központnak (contemporary architecture center) (www.kek.org.hu), which is an independent cultural architectural institute founded and operated by young architects, urban researchers, visual artists and civils, being at the same time the only internationally relevant professional platform dealing with local contemporary architecture. Since May 2012 the leader of the Budapest Főpolgármesteri Hivatal (municipality), Head of the urban development department, the Principal architect of Budapest (www.budapest.hu). Since 2009, volunteer project leader architect in India, for the Zalanga Fortified palace reconstructions started in respect of Kőrösi Csoma Sándor.
