Another apartment building inspired by Scandinavian architecture has been launched in Prague by the developer YIT.  The twelve-storey building with 47 apartments will be built near metro line C's Opatov station. It should be completed within two years, the developer informed.

YIT has started construction and sales of another Finnish-style residential project in Prague 11, Chodov. The Rivi Bachova house is being built on the site of a former boiler house and will house a total of 47 residential units ranging from 1-bedroom to 3/4-bedroom and up to 91 sqm in size, some with balconies or terraces. The developer expects its completion to take place at the turn of 2023 and 2024.

The apartment building with 12 above-ground and two underground floors is connected to the existing panel building and will visually complete the entire block. The design respects the character of the surrounding buildings, but also uses contemporary architectural elements and draws inspiration from Nordic architecture. The building will also include commercial space for retailers or services. Basements, a carriage house and parking spaces are also standard. Those in the garages will be accessed by two car lifts. Due to the tightening of lending in the Czech Republic and the constantly rising interest rates on mortgages, the developer promises clients assistance in obtaining a mortgage loan.
