Work has begun on the construction of Panattoni Park Wrocław West Gate, which will eventually have an area of around 47,000 sqm. The park’s first tenant will be Schumacher Packaging – a producer of cardboard packaging (including corrugated), which in September is to occupy 5,670 sqm.

Panattoni Park Wrocław West Gate with an eventual area of around 47,000 sqm is located to the west of the regional capital and in future will have access to the A4 motorway, the S3 expressway and the Wrocław Motorway Bypass. It will also have ready access to Wrocław Airport and the borders with the Czech Republic and Germany. Currently, the first stage of the project is under construction – a 17,600 sqm building, which should be completed in September 2021.

Schumacher Packaging is a specialist in packaging solutions tailored to the individual using plain card and corrugated cardboard. In Panattoni Park Wrocław West Gate, the company has taken up 5,670 sqm, which it is to use for storage and distributing the products from the nearby Schumacher Packaging factory.

Damian Kowalczyk, Development Director of Panattoni has commented on the latest development: “Panattoni Wrocław West Gate is a complex, which makes superb use of all the advantages of the Wrocław region including the good investment climate, the excellent location for operations that require almost all kinds of reach due to its easy access to road infrastructure and the nearby airport. This is our first development in the Środa Śląska county and already it’s found favour with Schumacher Packaging, which has operations in the area. The decision to start construction work has hit the bullseye.”

Panattoni Park Wrocław West Gate will be a two-building complex (17,600 sqm and 29,300 sqm) with an eventual area of 46,900 sqm, developed to the requirements of BREEAM ‘Very Good’ certification. The park is in the Miękinia administrative district within the Środa Śląska county 20 km from the centre of the regional capital and 10 km from the Wrocław Motorway Bypass, which joins to the S8 and runs on to Łódź and Warsaw.
