Property group Globalworth has obtained the WELL Health-Safety Rating for the entire portfolio of almost 500,000 sqm consisting of 15 office buildings in Romania. 

Real estate consultancy Colliers says it has finished the transformation of its Bucharest-based HQ and is implementing the WELL Health-Safety standard in a bid to keep its employees safe and prepare for the post-pandemic future of work. 

The Generation Park Y office building in Warsaw has been awarded the WELL Health-Safety Rating certificate. It is the tenth project of Skanska’s commercial development business unit in CEE region that has been awarded with such a distinction. 

Building B at the Warsaw Spark complex and Generation Park Z are the next Skanska office buildings which have received the WELL Core & Shell certificate at the Gold level from the International WELL Building Institute (IWBI). This is the fourth and fifth Skanska project certified in Central and Eastern Europe.

Kraków’s Mogilska 43 Office building and Łódź`s Ogrodowa Office building, which are part of Warimpex’s portfolio, have been certified according to WELL Health & Safety Rating and BREEAM In-use with “Excellent” rating. 

Over 230 real estate projects in Romania have been certified to meet health, safety and sustainability standards and the pandemic has boosted the efforts of developers to meet targets for such ratings, according to Colliers.

Olivia Business Centre in Gdańsk has undergone the analysis conducted by experts from the International Well Building Institute (IWBI) from New York. Olivia received a maximum score of 25 out of 25 points. According to the owner of the complex, this is the first such result recorded globally.

Speedwell obtained the WELL v2 pre-certification for MIRO, a Class A office project developed by the Belgian company in the northern part of Bucharest.

Romanian developer Țiriac Imobiliare has appointed Colliers International to obtain the WELL Health-Safety certification for a mixed portfolio of projects, being the first developer in Romania to do so.
