DRFG to build 100 flats in Mladá Boleslav

Investment group DRFG has started to build a new apartment complex in Mladá Boleslav in Michalovice. As part of the project, called Green, an apartment building with more than a hundred apartments, garages and a large garden with a water reservoir will be built within two years. The market value of the project is CZK 634.6 million (€25.9 million), according to DRFG spokeswoman Monika Brichtová.

Trigema makes proptech investment

Czech investment and development group Trigema has bought a 51% stake in CenovaMapa.org, the market leader in online real estate valuation. Its founder, Hyposervis, retains 49% of the company. The Purpose-Built Student Accommodation (PBSA) sector is recording an increase in rents across Europe, consolidating a trend that has been observed in recent years. On average, rents increased by 9.7% (970 BPS) in the academic year September 2021–September 2022, with some significant spikes in Central and Eastern Europe (CEE), according to research by Bonard. The growth of rents is shaped by the interplay between increased demand and rising inflation and interest rates.

YIT starts construction of apartment building in Prague 11

Central Group replaces broadcast tower in Prague with flats

One of the tallest buildings in Prague will disappear. The broadcasting tower of the Central Telecommunications Building (Ústřední telekomunikační budova) in Prague's Žižkov district will be demolished in January 2023, including the adjacent buildings. The demolition work is being prepared by the developer Central Group, which owns the entire technology complex in Olšanská Street and is now preparing a residential project there. The current design of the 100-metre towers with apartments by architect Eva Jiřičná has not yet been approved by the city, writes E15.cz.

New leases

  • CTP has welcomed the first tenant to CTPark Holubice, near Brno. Kuehne+Nagel has opened a modern distribution centre with a total area of more than 7,100 sqm, providing logistics services to clients in the Czech Republic and neighbouring countries.
  • Mindspace, a global operator of flexible office spaces, has signed a long-term lease agreement with Karimpol Polska for nearly 4,500 sqm of space in the Warsaw-based Skyliner II. Mindspace was advised by Gide Loyrette Nouel law firm, while Argon Legal provided legal advice to Karimpol.
  • Sygnity will take over new office space in Building B of the West Forum complex in Wrocław. The tenant, which has been present at the site for nearly 20 years, has opted to relocate within the development and sign a new long-term lease agreement. Sygnity was represented in the transaction by Patron Brokers, while BNM Real Estate serves as the exclusive agent for West Forum.

New appointments

  • CTP Romania has appointed Diane-Monique Forrest as Business Developer. She will focus on leasing activities in Transylvania, covering key cities such as Timișoara, Arad, Sibiu, and Deva.
  • iO Partners has announced the appointment of Róbert Cesnek as Head of Capital Markets in Slovakia, effective from January 2026. In his new role, he will focus on further strengthening market presence, advising clients on complex investment decisions and delivering high-impact transactions across asset classes.
  • Mateusz Sobczak has joined Scallier’s operations in Poland as Project Manager within the Development Department. Sobczak is an experienced engineer with 15 years of professional practice in project management within the commercial real estate sector. Throughout his career to date, he has collaborated with leading logistics developers, including the MLP Group and 7R.
