2020 was a record year for industrial and logistics investment volumes with ca. €3.3 billion transacted and a 32% share of the total annual volumes, according to “The CEE Industrial Scene 2020-2021” released by Colliers.

2020 was a landmark year for the warehouse industry, which in the face of the global pandemic turned out to be one of the strongest branches of the Polish economy. Summaries for last year show that Poland was the number two European market (after Germany) for commissioning warehouse space, as well as number three on the continent for leased space. 7R, the only Polish industrial and warehouse developer to be in the Polish sector’s top three, summarizes its results for 2020.

The Oresa investment fund bought the Solo logistics and industrial park near Iași from businessman Bogdan Pițigoi. The acquisition marks the fund's entry into the real estate market. The value of the transaction was not made public.

Two new industrial buildings with a total area of 38,000 sqm are planned to be built in Bialystok. The Arete Group of investment funds completed the entire transaction and transferred ownership of the complete portfolio of the Arete Invest CEE II subfund in the amount of €113.2 million (CZK 3 billion) to Cromwell European REIT (CEREIT) a publicly-traded real estate investment trust listed on the Singapore Stock Exchange.
