GEODIS, an international logistics company, has signed a lease agreement for additional 5,000 sqm of warehouse and office space in the Tristar Wrocław industrial and logistics park. Until now GEODIS Poland Sp. z o.o. who provides Contract Logistics, Road Transport and Freight Forwarding Services occupied approx. 15,000 sqm. Starting from 2nd February 2022, GEODIS will expand their footprint in the project to 20,000 sqm of total leased area.

GEODIS has signed a contract for additional warehouse space located in the immediate vicinity of their previously leased warehouse and office space. Thanks to this new lease, they will be able to increase the scale of their logistics operations while based in this strategic location. GEODIS currently has nearly 1,500 employees in 29 locations in Poland, including more than twenty hubs throughout the country.

“The concluded contract shows that long-term relationships with our partners are an integral part of the way we do business. Thanks to the early initiation of talks, and subsequent familiarity of tenant  expectations, we are able to offer flexible growth opportunities and comfort when it comes to expansion. GEODIS is developing very dynamically and it is important to us to contribute to this growth. Being our tenants’ first choice is confirmation that the strategy we pursue, in terms of cooperation with partners, is optimal for both parties, ” says Urszula Rasmussen, Head of Industrial Leasing, White Star Real Estate.

Tristar Wrocław is an industrial and logistics park located approximately 15 kilometers from Wrocław’s city center. The facility was built in the immediate vicinity of the "Wrocław Południe" junction, connecting the A4 and A8 motorways. The logistic park consists of two warehouse buildings with a total area of 39,300 sqm, which includes office-social space. The possibility of light production in these of modern class A warehouse facilities provides an additional advantage. The park is well connected to Poland’s major cities as well as to Czechia, Germany and Slovakia.

“Thanks to the larger warehouse space within the same location, we can smoothly expand the scale of our operations in the region without any negative impact on our Customer. We very much appreciate cooperation with Tristar Wrocław as it has allowed us to focus on the continuity of operations, and the further development of GEODIS ", says Michał Szymański Contract Logistics Operations Director at GEODIS.

The contract with GEODIS is another transaction concluded between Tristar and existing tenants. Over the past 18 months, Tristar has renewed a number of lease agreements, totaling 113,000 sqm. In May of this year, logistics operator Spedimex signed a lease for a 3.5 thousand sqm warehouse space in Tristar Poznań. In November 2020, the same company extended its lease agreement for over 9.5 thousand sqm of office and warehouse space, in two Tristar logistics centers - Gdańsk and Poznań. Also in November of 2020, Inter Cars chose to extend their lease in Gdańsk and continue working together with Tristar.
