A coalition of over 10,000 hotels across Europe has initiated a class‑action lawsuit in the Netherlands against Booking.com, alleging that the platform’s now‑banned “best price” or rate parity clauses violated EU competition law between 2004 and 2024. These clauses prohibited hotels from offering lower prices through other channels or on their own websites, which the European Court of Justice ruled unlawful in September 2024

Prague 3 has spoken out against a development project planned by the developer UDI Group in Žižkov. The town hall is bothered by the size of the project. The developer accuses the authority of arbitrariness and threatens to sue. Martin Roman, an ex-CEZ Group boss, has a stake in the project, writes seznamzpravy.cz.

CPI Property Group updated its stakeholders regarding a defamation claim filed in June 2020 by Kingstown Capital Management L.P. and Investhold LTD against CPIPG and Radovan Vitek in New York State court.

A group of companies that in April 2019 filed a lawsuit in the Southern District of New York against CPI Property Group, its majority shareholder Radovan Vítek and other accused parties, are appealing against the dismissal of the case.

CPI Property Group published an update regarding the lawsuit filed in April 2019 in the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York. The lawsuit concerned a group of Kingstown companies, Investhold LTD and Verali Limited (who filed a claim against CPIPG and Mr. Radovan Vitek and other parties alleging violations of the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act in the United States. On 4 September 2020, the SDNY Court dismissed the claims against all defendants and directed the clerk of court to close the case.

Financial advisory group Rothschild & Co. was sued in New York for allegedly helping Radovan Vitek, the majority owner of CPI Property Group, secretly acquire controlling shares in Orco Property Group.  Kingstown, a New York hedge fund, is claiming €1 billion of damages for the alleged fraud. CPI Property Group and Radovan Vitek deny the allegations and claim that the New York lawsuit is baseless and has no merit.
