Globalworth Industrial, the industrial and logistics sub-brand of Globalworth, has begun construction at Constanța Business Park, the largest mixed-use project in Romania. The business park is being developed on a plot of some 100 hectares and will include industrial and logistics, production and service space, as well as office buildings and an intermodal hub.

Globalworth has signed agreements with Podium Investment Poland to acquire Podium Park in Kraków. Podium Park comprises three connected 11-storey buildings which will, on completion, have a total leasable area of ​​over 55,000 sqm, and it is one of the few office projects in Poland with BREEAM certificates at the highest possible level - Outstanding.

Globalworth has inaugurated the most advanced lobby in the region, with a number of innovations and technological premieres that include the world's largest kinetic floor in an office building, the longest screen wall in CEE, the largest natural green wall in an office building SEE, a space to relax with heated marble steps, Schindler projectors and Pepper, Globalworth's first robot employee. According to the developer, the Globalworth Tower building, which welcomes some 30,000 visitors daily, has become a benchmark for office space innovation and sustainability.

Aroundtown has acquired an 11.8 percent stake in Globalworth. Aroundtown is a real estate company with a focus on properties with added value potential in central locations in top tier cities, primarily in Germany and the Netherlands.

Globalworth has signed a preliminary sale and purchase agreement with Cavatina Holdings SA to acquire two office developments in Poland, in Warsaw and Krakow, on their completion scheduled for Q1 2020. The maximum transaction consideration for the two assets has been set at €185 million, with the final consideration to be determined on their leasing status at completion and after customary deductions. 

Globalworth announced its intention to raise additional equity capital via a placing of up to approximately 28.5 million new shares to existing and new investors to take advantage of a strong pipeline of acquisition opportunities identified by the company.

Globalworth confirmed the completion of the delisting of its Polish subsidiary, Globalworth Poland Real Estate N.V. from the Warsaw Stock Exchange with effect from 29 September 2019.  With the company's shareholding in GPRE having reached 99.92%, the remaining shares in GPRE will now be acquired through a mandatory acquisition, thereby completing this process.

Globalworth confirms the closing of the acquisition of two office buildings in Poland for a total transaction value of €113 million. Retro Office House in Wroclaw and Silesia Star in Katowice offer over 50,000 sqm of modern office space, and through the companies present in these properties add approximately 10,000 new employees and visitors to Globalworth’s Polish portfolio community, which is now 110,000 strong on a daily basis.

Globalworth has worked with Signify to deliver the first implementation of a light-wave wireless communication solution in the CEE region. Trulifi is available in the Warsaw office building Spektrum Tower. Investments in new technologies improving the use of the office buildings managed by the company are one of the pillars of Globalworth's development strategy in Poland. 

In order to finance its further growth, Globalworth successfully completed a capital increase of €500.5 million. The EBRD invested a further €25 million to support the company’s planned growth. The Bank became a shareholder in Globalworth in December 2017 and currently holds a 5.8 per cent stake in the company.
