Globalworth Romania has begun construction of Green Court D, the fourth building in the Green Court complex in Bucharest's Aurel Vlaicu area. The project is scheduled for completion in 2027 and is currently in the preliminary construction stage involving enclosure and basement excavations.

Globalworth has appointed Piotr Olendski and Roy Vishnovizki as Joint Chief Executive Officers. Dennis Selinas, who served as CEO for three years, will step down to pursue other opportunities and support an orderly transition.

Globalworth has renewed its Access4you certification for all 16 office buildings in its Romanian portfolio, totaling almost 500,000 sqm. The recertification, conducted with consultancy services from Colliers, marks the second three-year certification cycle for the leading office investor in CEE.

Globalworth and the consortium of banks Helaba and pbb have announced the signing of an agreement extending the bank financing for the office real estate portfolio by an additional 5 years. The initial loan of €100 million was granted in 2018 to finance multiple properties. The financing continues to be secured on a number of assets in Poland: Centrum Biurowe Lubicz, Tryton Business Park and Spektrum Tower.

Commercial real estate investments in Romania reached €750 million in 2024, marking a 58% increase compared to the previous year, though slightly below the €800 million annual average recorded over the past decade, according to a Colliers report. 

Law firm PeliPartners has assisted WDP in the acquisition of several industrial projects and a landbank from Globalworth and Global Vision. 

Law firm Kinstellar has advised Globalworth on the sale of a logistics portfolio in Romania to WDP, in one of the biggest industrial transactions completed in Romania in the year to date.

WDP has purchased several industrial projects and land plots from Globalworth and Global Vision for around €110 million.
