Globalworth, the leading office investor in Central and Eastern Europe (CEE), announces the appointment of Marian Popa as Managing Director for Romania with effect from 1st March 2021. As Managing Director, Marian Popa will be responsible for managing the company’s activities in Romania, focusing on operational, administration and business development matters, and will report to Dimitris Raptis, CEO of Globalworth Group.
Globalworth announces that Dimitris Raptis is appointed sole CEO of the Group. Ioannis Papalekas is stepping down as CEO of the company effective 15th of December 2020.
Nokia has decided to extend its lease agreements with Globalworth for the office space it occupies in the West Gate and West Link office buildings in Wrocław, Poland. The contract, which covers an area of nearly 30,000 sqm, is the largest lease agreement signed in a Polish regional city market this year.
The cosmetics, food supplements and parapharmaceuticals company Green Net has leased 2,500 sqm in Chitila Logistics Hub, developed by Globalworth and Global Vision. The leasing process was carried out virtually.
Globalworth and Global Vision have leased part of the first warehouse delivered within Constanța Business Park to PepsiCo. The company will lease storage space of approximately 6,000 square meters and an office area of 550 square meters.
Globalworth’s revenue and net operating income rose by 9.9% to €114.0 million and by 17.1% to €79.6 million as compared to H1 2019, respectively, mainly due to the acquisition of standing properties in Poland and completion of the development of properties in Romania. Globalworth has published its interim results for the six months ended 30 June 2020.
Globalworth intends to launch a €1.5 billion issue under its Euro Medium Term Note (EMTN) Program. The notes will be sold on the Dublin Stock Exchange.

Alexander Rafajlovič has joined CA Immo as Head of Market Research & Data Analytics. Based in Prague, he and his team will be responsible for coordinating, structuring, and analyzing all macro and market-related data across the region, as well as tracking, analysing and interpreting trends affecting CA Immo’s business, both for future investment and development opportunities, as well as the existing portfolio. He previously worked as Partner in Cushman & Wakefield’s CEE Capital Markets team.
