Romanian property fund Encore Capital Trust has made 170 acquisitions in the first six months of operation with an average investment ticket of around €290,000. The purchases covered apartments and parking lots based in nine residential projects. 

Arete Group has signed a loan agreement for more than €100 million with the consortium of Czech and Slovak banks – one of the largest banking groups in the Czech Republic and Slovakia - Česká spořitelna and Slovenská sporiteĺňa.  

Czech investor Investika has quickly become one of the largest players in the local market and has already expanded internationally. The company is currently preparing two transactions in Warsaw and has its sights set on other EU countries, says Petr Čížek, CEO of Investika, in an interview with Property Forum.

Peakside Capital Advisors has completed the disposal of the 240,000 sqm portfolio of a CEE value-add real estate investment venture. Sales proceeds totalled over €160 million, generating an IRR of 20% and an equity multiple of over 1.7x for Peakside investors.

pbb Deutsche Pfandbriefbank has provided a €118 million credit facility to REICO ČS NEMOVITOSTNÍ, the biggest open-ended real estate fund on the Czech market, managed by REICO, an investment company of Česká spořitelna. The facility will be used to fund the acquisition of two newly built logistic properties in Upper Silesia as well as for the refinancing of an office building in Warsaw.

KGAL has acquired Charles Square Center, a multi-tenant office property in downtown Prague, from Commerz Real, the company announced today.

Zdeněk Tůma the former governor of the Czech National Bank (2000-2010), portfolio manager Martin Pětivoký and Martin Hubinger , the owner of residential developer Realism, have founded IRQ Funds and are launching a new fund named IRQ Residential Rental for qualified investors focused on rental housing.

The third fund of Czech investor Arete Group has acquired a modern, highly specialized production facility with a research and development centre and with the potential for further development in Kežmarok, Slovakia. The value of the investment exceeded €10 million.
