Colliers has appointed Melinda Kovacs as new Head of Landlord Office Agency for Hungary in Budapest.

JLL is responding to the strengthening trend of flexible offices along with the entry of new centres on the Czech market and introduces a unique consulting service in this sector in the Czech Republic. Tereza Bílá joined the JLL Landlord & Brokerage team as a Flexspace Consultant on June 1st.

Medici Living Group, a provider of co-living space in Europe and the US, is expanding into Poland. The company has appointed Renata Kusznierska as Director Expansion Poland. Based in Warsaw, she will be spearheading the group’s expansion and roll-out of the Quarters co-living brand in the region. She will identify locations and secure buildings, with an initial focus on Warsaw and Krakow. Other cities are to follow once a foothold has been established.

Colliers International is extending its range of services in Poland. The company has been joined by Bartosz Jankowski, who has become the director of the new Design & Build department as a partner. The new business line will offer fit-out and construction services, including comprehensive implementation of space arrangement projects in office, hotel and service buildings.

Cushman & Wakefield has extended its exclusive affiliation with CBS International to enter the Croatian market, expanding its wide array of integrated property services to one of the youngest EU countries.  

Martin Miklas was named the new CFO of HB Reavis. He took this position over from CEO Marian Herman, who had kept these responsibilities even after becoming CEO last year. Martin, so far, has mostly been responsible for the non-real estate businesses of HB Reavis shareholder.

Anna Bartoszewicz-Wnuk, Anna Młyniec, Agata Sekuła and Savvas Savva have been appointed Members of the Management Board of JLL in Poland. All four of them join Tomasz Trzósło (Managing Director & President of the Management Board), Małgorzata Żółtowska and Kazimierz Kirejczyk (Vice-Presidents) to strengthen JLL's position on the real estate market in Poland.

The valuation department of Cushman & Wakefield Echinox has evaluated over 700 properties with a cumulative value of €4 billion in 2018, while estimating an increase of 25% of the valuation volume, potentially reaching the €5 billion threshold during the year.

The BNP Paribas Real Estate Poland team was joined at the beginning of March by Piotr Krawczyński who took up the position of Head of Capital Markets CEE. His responsibilities will include client acquisition and coordination of property purchase/sale transactions across Central and Eastern Europe. Furthermore, his scope of duties will also involve consultancy services in respect of property investment finance.

Sylwia Pędzińska, Senior Partner at Colliers International and Head of the Workplace Innovation department, has been appointed head of a newly created Innovation & Knowledge department for Colliers’ Polish business. Dorota Osiecka will replace Sylwia as the new director of Workplace Innovation.
