JLL has decided to enter the residential market. With the acquisition of REAS, JLL will become the first advisory firm to operate on all segments of the real estate business in Poland. Working within the structures of JLL, REAS will be responsible for developing Living Services in both Poland and Central & Eastern Europe.

Colliers International is extending its range of services dedicated to investors. Dorota Wysokińska-Kuzdra has joined the company where she will head the new Corporate Finance CEE department as a Partner. The new business line will provide advice on customers’ financial needs, including debt financing, mezzanine financing, raising capital and gaining capital partners, and also offering support in acquiring companies and entering the stock exchange.

In response to growing demand in the Czech property market for specialist asset and market analysis, Cushman & Wakefield has expanded its Advisory service line with a newly established team of 3 dedicated professionals headed by Richard Hogg MRICS. In conjunction, Michal Naskos MRICS, a veteran of the valuation industry, becomes Head of Valuation Czech Republic.

CPI Property Group announced the appointment of Radek Zeman as Division Director and Barbara Topolska as Country Manager for Poland, in addition to the refinancing of the IGY shopping centre located in Ceske Budejovice, Czech Republic. The newly secured loan of €60 million was provided by Komercni banka for a term of five years.

HB Reavis has appointed Peter Pecnik to the Chief Executive Officer position in Poland. In his new role, he will manage a team of 170 across the Polish market, the largest among the Group’s business operations. Stepping down from his role as CEO for Poland, Stanislav Frnka is leaving the company after more than 12 years.

Colliers International Czech Republic has expanded its services with the launch of its Design & Build service line. The new division offers clients a wide and integral range of services directly linked to occupiers’ needs starting with fit-out consultancy, to drawing and planning space plans including the interior designs up to complete realization and turnkey handovers. The services offered under Design & Build are relevant to landlords and new occupiers, as well as to existing ones who wish to redesign existing premises and improve the productivity and retention of their employees. JLL appointed of Robert Sztemberg as Business Development Director at JLL’s Capital Markets Department, which specializes in providing investment advisory services on commercial real estate sales and acquisitions, from large offices and retail centers to industrial portfolios and hotels.

Alicja Zajler joined Colliers International as Director in the Valuation and Advisory Department. Together with Ewa Czarnecka, Senior Partner and Director, Alicja will manage the department and set the course for its development.

Knight Frank formally opened a dedicated office in Budapest, becoming a fully branded Knight Frank business from 20 September 2018.
