CTP recently announced Arcadis, ADP and CEVRE as winners of the tender for certifying CTP’s entire portfolio of buildings. Winners were chosen based on track record, capability, ESG activity and cost. Key to the winning the tender was sufficient resources available to certify all 293 buildings in six countries within the timeframe. CTP plans to have all 293 buildings certified by the end of June 2020. The certification process will require close cooperation and transparency among the various parties and each party has dedicated teams to complete the task by the agreed deadline. In total, CTP expects to invest up to €1.2 million into the certification process.

After re-certification, the Metropolitan office building in Warsaw has received the BREEAM Excellent certificate. The property is managed by Colliers International.

In an industry first, CTP Invest and BRE will collaborate to implement BREEAM In-Use International across the entire CTP Invest portfolio of industrial buildings, throughout 2019 and 2020, in a landmark strategic alliance.

Tower 1 and Tower 2, the first two office buildings of the Globalworth Campus project in Bucharest, have been awarded BREEAM certificates with a rating of 'Excellent'. The certification recognizes the high standards of sustainability and the healthy working environment of the 57,000 sqm of Class A office space in the complex located in the northern part of the city.

The Bitwy Warszawskiej Business Center has received the BREEAM IN-USE certificate with a “Very Good” rating in Asset Performance and Building Management. The audit was conducted by Cushman & Wakefield. CA Immo is the owner of the office building.

Futureal Group has started the construction of the second phase of its Advance Tower office building located at the Váci office corridor in Budapest, Hungary. The expansion of the office complex will offer an additional 8,000 square meters of GLA. Advance Tower’s second phase receiving the international WELL Building Platinum Precertification is expected to be handed over in the second half of 2019.

Yareal has received the building permit to construct the first stage of the 65,000 sqm LIXA office complex. Yareal’s biggest office investment ever will co-create the business centre at Warsaw’s Daszyński roundabout.

Optim Project Management has assisted NEPI Rockcastle throughout the entire BREEAM certification process for the landmark office project, Aviatorilor 8. The building achieved an ‘Excellent’ level of certification under the BREEAM International 2013 rating scheme.

Galeria Mazovia, a retail asset located in Płock, Poland and owned by the CBRE European Shopping Centre Fund (ESCF), has obtained a BREEAM (Building Research Establishment Assessment Method) rating of ‘Excellent’ in tests conducted in February 2018.

The EBRD and ING Romania are joining forces to finance the logistics park CTPark, situated on the A1 Bucharest-Pitesti motorway and 2 km away from the Romanian capital. The financiers have arranged a package of €96 million, of which the EBRD is providing €43.8 million and ING €52.2 million.
