Local retail chain operator La Cocoș has opened its fourth hypermarket in Brașov. The company has leased 10,000 sqm for the new unit in the Brintex complex, in a deal brokered by Cushman & Wakefield Echinox.
Financial company Transilvania Investments has sold the Coroana-Postăvaru hotel in Brașov for close to €9.4 million as part of its portfolio rebalancing strategy. The sale was carried out in a public offering.
Romanian property company Grand Development, founded by Ionuț Nicolescu, is investing over €12 million in the development of Montebello Transylvania Resort, a project comprising 47 chalet-style villas near Brasov. The first phase of the development is slated for completion in November 2023.
A new Mercure hotel will open in Brașov at the end of 2025 following an agreement inked by Romanian investment fund Transilvania Investments and the international hospitality group Accor.

Eolus Poland will join the tenants of Life Building in Warsaw's Wola district. The Swedish-based renewable energy provider will occupy almost 300 sqm in the office building in April.
EPP-managed Galeria Olimpia has recently signed agreements with seven tenants - drugstore dm-drogerie markt, pet market Family Pets & Zoo and brands Reporter Young, Pitbull West Coast, Czas na Herbatę, Arianos Doner Kebab and entertainment centre Crazy Ticket. The new tenants will occupy more than 1,100 sqm of space, and the facility's occupancy level is 99% at present.
Hexing Technologies Europe has leased 8,000 sqm for a new production plant in Globalworth Timisoara Industrial Park I. The lease deal was brokered by CBRE.

Avison Young has named Adrian Crizbășianu, former executive at DB Schenker and VGP, as the new Head of Industrial & Logistics Agency. He has an extensive background in logistics and real estate spanning over 25 years.
Katarzyna Uzar joins the Valuation and Advisory team at Avison Young in Poland to take on the position of Assistant Valuer. She will support the team in creating offers and letters of appointment for valuation and will help property valuers throughout the valuation process.
Bartosz Chrostowski, an expert with almost 10 years of experience in commercial property, has joined real estate advisory firm Savills as an Associate Director of the landlord representation team of the office agency led by Daniel Czarnecki.
