Romanian property holding Meta Estate Trust says it has invested €500,000 in the first phase of residential project The Lake Home from Sibiu. 

Akcent Development’s Cloud 9 residential project in northern Bucharest reached 700 units sold by the end of August out of 820 apartments available in the complex. 

Asking prices of apartments in Romania were up 2% in August compared to the previous month to €1,508 per sqm, according to property portal Imobiliare.ro.

Buyers want more rooms, but the minimum area they can accept in a given type of apartment is still decreasing, say JLL analysts.
